  • I agree with Kobe being ranked higher than Duncan.....Kobe in his 16th season is leading the league in scoring and playing at a high level. Duncan is still great but you can tell he is nowhere near what he once was....Kobe on the other hand is always in the conversation with even the future players like Durant and Lebron.

  • I think bill Russel is the greatest of all time, he as 11 championships.

  • 1. MJ

    2. Magic

    3. Kareem

    4. Wilt

    5. Bird

    6. Kobe

    7. Duncan

    8. Shaq

    9. Oscar

    10. Hakeem

  • @Kingjd87 kobe over duncan?????? are you crazy?

  • @bissoc14

I think Kobe's achieved more than Duncan and he's played at a higher level than Duncan for a longer period. Duncan has been out of his prime for about 3-4 years now. Kobe still plays at a high level even 15-16 years into his career.

  • @Kingjd87 that's a good point, but i don't think just yet... if he has 2-3 more allstar years, i think i'm comfortable saying Kobe was better then Duncan.... i guess longetivity goes for the same with Hakeem and Shaq huh?

I still wouldn't do that for either of those two.

  • i think at the end of his career it will be

    1.Jordan

    2.Kobe

    3.Magic

    4.Bird

    5.Kareem

  • bottom line is lebron traveled.

  • the following people need a life and a job @thiennguyenX2 @AdreasTheGreat

  • @superman1113215 I'm sorry. I'll stop talking basketball on a basketball video now.

You come on a basketball video, to watch people talk basketball. But when other people do it, they need lives. You got downs?

  • haha... two guys arguing on youtube for atleast 10 pages of comments... somebody needs to get a life

  • more rebounds both ends jordan, steals jordan, pts jordan, assists jordan, awards jordan...what the hell more do you need? playoffs jordan finals jordan.....highest points in reg season, playoffs, and finals. thats all anyone needs to know. LBJ is putting up better stats then kobe these days

  • "We have to take Michael Jordan out of the equation. Stop comparing anyone to Michael Jordan. It's just not fair. He was remarkable. Kobe's in his own sphere. He doesn't shoot the same percentage [.455] as Michael [.497]. He has the same characteristics as Michael, but he's not the same player. It takes nothing away from him — he's a great player in his own right." ~ Phil Jackson.....NO ONE IS JORDAN ACCEPT IT.

  • i am sorry for my englsih but it's not my main language.

  • Kobe is the greatest of all time.

  • @bootydaddy555 lol, good one!

  • kobe will never be a top 10 all time great!!! STOP DREAMING!!!

  • @wornoutshoes11 another MJ dick rider who wants to lower Kobe's reputation, get off his dick

  • in my opinion top 10 are 1.mj 2.wilt 3.kareem 4.magic 5.bird 6.oscar 7.russell 8.hakeem 9.shaq 10.kobe and j.west
  • Sorry, but skill wise, I don't think Kobe is the greatest player of this era, I'm going with Tim Duncan, a man hardly anybody gives their respects to. As far as wing players are concerned then yes, Kobe is the best, although his defense is overrated in my opinion but Tim Duncan by far is the greatest player of this era his game was damn near flawless and he is easily the most fundamentally sound player of this era.

  • Comment removed

  • didnt they win the championship that year 2009 i think

  • i didn know kobe passes

  • go to michael jordans world dot com, and find the link to "comparison with all time greats"

  • @BNS224 not going to argue with those facts, but one the biggest stage, Micheal Jordan has always come out on top without flaw. Kareem has won the championship 6 times, but lost four. Rusell, don't take this as negative cause defense alone, Russell is my inspiration, won the championship 11 times, lost once. Wilt is one of the grestest single, not team players in history, but always has Russell in his way. Won 2, lost 4.

  • His defense is overrated, no offense. Maybe he could surpass Bird, but that puts him #5 at best.

Offense alone, I would consider him one of the top 5 threats. Overall (offense & defense), ppl need to relax

  • ppl. MJ is #1. Now #2-5 will FOREVER always be a debate between Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson. Kobe will never touch the top 5, and he has Shaq to thank for that (taking three of the five Finals MVP). These men defined their decade. You gotta own your decade, and be honest, did Kobe really define this decade. 80s I remember the great Celtics Lakers rivalry Magic-Bird. 90s it was Jordan no question. 2000's you got the upcoming of the Spurs, and Domination of Shaq!

  • @Lexio3031 Idk Jordan was great but Russell with 11 titles and Wilt avg. 30.1 ppg and 22.9 reb for his career could easily be at the top or Kareem who has 6 MVPs and 6 rings. Magic and Bird also with their all around games deserve to be mentioned. If I had to take 1 player to start a team I would take Magic but as far as the greatest it is tough to get past 11 titles in 13 years. Russell also won as a player/coach and defensively changed the whole game.

  • kobe is #2 deal with it

  • kobe his a 5 time play off mvp so he has 5 rings. and he is 4 time al star mvp champion and 2 time mvp off the year. plus he made 81 points in a game by him self and scored 61 points in a nother so he beats lebron by along shot.

  • haha kobe will be top 10, maybe even top 5.. but nobody will say it until hes retired afew years from now, which leads me to another point..in a few years hes going to have padded his stats even further. He may pass mj on all time points list, may catch a title or two, probably a few other laker all time records, etc

haters gonna hate, but kobe is/will be one of the GOAT

  • he forgot to mention larry legend

  • @andyhart14 I doubt it. I know Jalen's racial bias. The way he talked about Grant Hill. If you're not acting ghetto, you're an "Uncle Tom" to him. Who knows how much he wants to undersell Larry 'Legend.' He probably takes Rodman's line to heart about Bird.

  • @Herv3

Yeah, his racial bias, that's why Jerry West is on his list, huh?

You Bird fans get over yourself, why don't you? Bird is not better than any of the players Rose named. Not one. Well, maybe West.

  • Kobe = 23+1

  • I'm with u kill joy..... even if kobe surpasses all mj stats, it's a different era. wait until kobe retires at 40 maybe all facts, opinion, and comments will be more appreciated... peace out!

  • i know basketball isn't about just scoring, but the way to win is to put the most points on the board and if a guy scores 81 points in one game, displaying 3 point shots , penetration following lay ups plus fouls, mid-range jumpers, a huge variety in kobe's scoring arsenal should make him at least 2nd best all time basketball player in nba history, sure wilt had 100 points, but were the centers back then able to defend a 7'1 guy who would only make a basket 5 feet away

  • Jalen is one of the best NBA anaylsts out there.

  • KILL JOY IS CORRECT you cannot prove that MJ is better than Johnson Bird LBJ Chamberlain (sorry for wrong spelling) or even KOBE....... NBA RULES CHANGES FROM TIME TO TIME...... heres my opinion...

    1950's WILt Chamberlain

    1960's Bill Russel

    1970's Jerry West?

1980's Larry BIRD, M JOHnson and Julius Ervin i just cant pick on the 3 of them

1990's MJ no Doubt..... but Reggie MIller is also a GOOD contender.... ^_^

2000's KOBE ... LBJ aint no SHIT he is just Athelitic lets see when he is older

  • @The88Razor88 1950s , wilt? he started in 1959-60, and it should be 1980-2000 mj era.

  • @01shan001 he may be..... ummm well since he is the THE BIG MAN OF THE 50's due to his reputation in the Harlem Globe Trotters.... thats is why i pick him in the 50's ok? and man 1980's to 2000 mj era? u sure man.... I have respect to MJ but 80's is the ERA of BOSTON AND LAKERS RIVALRY... and the Entrance of the THE MODERN BBALL by Julius Ervin by the MERGE OF ABA and NBA..... 90's is the ONLY Jordan's era since here he DOMINATED the whole GAME but by 2000's in the wizards.... KOBE is already

  • @The88Razor88 you can't even dedicate an entire era to one player. The early 2000s were easily Shaq's years, then after that the consensus was that KG was the best player in the game. After Kobe's display of leadership in 2006 he started turning heads but the decade was nearly over by then. That's why I didn't agree with TNT giving Kobe player of the decade. I thought it should have been Shaq or Tim Duncan.

  • @01shan001 in the Game DOMINATING THE NEW SCHOOL OF BBALL.... I HAVE RESPECT to MJ as a BULL but MJ as a Wizards? thats is one of his Mistakes...... He should just Retired in the BBALL with the BULLS and LEAVING with an OUTSTANDING REPUTATIOn.... but he comes back with the Wizards... but he cannot DOMINATE na whole new world of BBALL..... sorry but i am just stating my Opinion

  • @The88Razor88 dude i meant 1980-2000 , not 2003 , and yes 1980 , lead the league in points 5 times , defensive player of the year and mvp in the same year. shot the ball 50+% , while scoring 34 points ppg , became the second player ever to score 3000+ points , did 8 assists 8 rebounds 32.5 ppg while shooting 53%

  • @01shan001 i understand you man...... although he is the competator in the game during 80's u cannot say the jordan is the best by that time... because kareem magic Lakers and Birds celtic is still in the game and dominating it.... i also pet julius erving here BECAUSE HE IS THE KING OF KING.... MJ just copied ervings slam dunk......... I have respect to MJ but 80's the ERVING MAGIC KAREEM BIRD ERA... but in the 90's no doubt MJ WHOLE ERA DOMINATION......... peace man sign out

  • larry bird?? Tim Duncan?? Dr. J?

  • @Lexio3031 thank you!!!!!!!!!!! jalen rose is an idiot for not mentioning the guy who brought the modern era of bball (dr.j), and two of the top 10 players ever in duncan and bird its not like those are easy names to pass up ESPECIALLY BIRD!

  • people tend to forget aout KAreem Abdul Jabaar

  • lol bunch of these fucken stat nerds half of them are fat as fuck and dont even play basketball, there aint no greatest, just greatest of their era. ITS A FUCKING STUPID DEBATE, YOU CANNOT COMPARE CROSS ERA's. DIFFERENT DEFENSES, PLAYERS, TECHNIQUES, COACHING METHODS, DIFFERENT EVERYTHING. its an endless and pointless debate

  • Kobe is a great player. He is one of the greatest of all time. He's right next to LeBron.

  • @BENKATOK right next to? what fuck has lebron achieved? hes only been in the league what 8 years... what has he done that gives him the right to be called greatest of all time? 2 MVP's? please

  • @BENKATOK Lebron = LOSES EVERY SINGLE YEAR.... not 1 , not 2 not 3 not 4 not 6 not 6 not 7 not 8....thats right.... ZERO RINGS FOR THE fake

  • @joefasho7777 ummm in 95 wen jordan came back he only played about 20 games(idk the actual # just estimating) and he only took threes tat were open or he felt he could make which isnt tat much, and idk about 96-97 but he only took a lil over 100 3's...if u take more threes there a bigger chance youll miss but if u take a little bit, and smart 3's theres a better chance you'll make more

if u watch kobe play he takes alot of dumb 3's but he makes most of them, not consistent but he'll make em

  • It's a different era! Even Jordan wouldn't claim that he's the best player ever simply because he said that he never played against every great players before and after him. To me, There is no best player of all time... Just the best player of his era.

  • @kiLLjoy24CALI You are right! Can't agree more!

  • @kiLLjoy24CALI yeah, its just noone argues about coaches.. obvious Phil Jack, And Red Auerbach are the greatest ever

  • @kiLLjoy24CALI Kobe's probably top 15 player all time.

  • nice job mentioning larry bird douche

  • @Onyxions your completely right I'm sick of all of the Lakers fans saying Lebron suck he has nor rings or kobe is better than MJ because he definetly isn't and he never will be all he does is copy MJ

  • @Onyxions I Agree that T-Mac was better and Lebron is now but Kobe isnt over rated he's still probably around the 3rd best player behind D Wade and Lebron

  • @XxShiftGamingxX tmac was GREAT. but what made kobe better was he played defense.. he was all first team defense. tmac was never on a first team all D...anyway, kobe aint better than jordan no matter what he do..

  • @manakoebunz good point T-Macs D wasnt good at all but he usually had a defensive player on his team so he could carry the team with his offence

  • If T mac had never got injured he would be better than Kobe,Maybe not any rings but more skilled and talented

  • MJ=-GOAT for sure and by far

  • @Onyxions yea? but whats your pic? is it even you?. . . .Dude your retarded or somethin. cuz 4 one your the only one on these comments saying tmac was better than kobe . . .do yu know how stupid u look/sound? . . .yu need to watch more bball cuz i know alot about basketball. &fyi kobe has drobed 40+ points plenty of times to be only a 25pt player

  • this guy says kobe " never carries his team, never takes over. never has those moments ". . . GTF outta here with that bullshit.

  • @Onyxions Eat a dick with your 4 subscribers lmao lame kidd

  • @Onyxions Dude STFU , Get your head out your ass . . . t-mac can never be compared to kobe . this isnt even a good argument . and wtf youy mean kobe is only a 25 point player? kobe dropped all kind of different amount of points so get your shit right ! & lebron , and everyone else with a brain in the NBA said kobes the best basketball player in the game today besides keven durant which is also better than lebron. . .no where in there is T-mac's faget ass mentioned

  • na i watch it and hell yea im a kobe fan but i ant bais i jus grew up watching the nba and i know the game yes kobe my fav player yes tmac was a beast lebron is a beast but both not near kobe tmac for so many reasons and lebron needs some rings but anyway me being a kobe fan is not the problem i dont go out my way to give him praise but u hatters is what kill me ok i dont know bballl whatever u say jus go look up actual nba player old and new comments ondud he been the best for the last 10years

  • u dont no bball bra to say tmac was ever better than kb tmac wouldnt even say that shit stop hatin

  • @Onyxions are yu fuckin serious!? T-mac was never in his life better than kobe and lebron is a good player put he cant fuck with the black mamba

  • @Onyxions wtf are we talking about? im just comparing jordans field goal percentage to kobes that all. and stating that if kobe took less threes like jordan that they would be the same %. your making this into "kobes not better than jordan bcuz.....

  • @Onyxions k...do me a favor, search in Micheal Jordan Clutch 3 pointers, and tell me what you find. Then do the same for kobe.

  • kobe is better than magic johnson sorry ass!

  • @kobexxballer youre right and that's because Kobe plays defense. Magic was a great offensive player but Kobe is one of the 3 most complete players ever along with MJ and Hakeem Olajuwon.

  • @malteadotas4 oh but kobe was a better offensive player

  • @noformstyle

No. kobe regardless of his performence, would have won the finals mvp. That is how NBA works.

  • @damroll truth

  • @damroll So Why did Parker won 2007 Final MVP over Duncan..

  • mamba 1st

  • larry bird

  • If you look closely, Jalen Rose is tipsy...

  • 0:17 I cant believe he didnt mention larry bird !!!

  • lebro will never be a better shooter/scorer than mj

  • hell no

  • Also 81 points and 5 rings are irrelevant. 81 points is one game and came against a team which in that season was one of the worst in terms of defensive efficiency (Toronto Raptors). I also believe he only had 1 assist that game. Rings are a team achievement. How many 50 point or even 40 point games does he have in the playoffs compared to Jordan? It baffles me how some people believe he's better than Michael Jordan because they pull random stuff out of their asses.

  • Top 20 maybe Top 15 player of all-time. Nowhere close to Top 10. Look at his elimination game stats, clutch shot shooting %, and how efficient of a scorer he is. He's overrated in all of those areas in my opinion, and more. Also can't win without a $90 roster and the best starting lineup in the game. But people who watch too much ESPN see all of this BS and think he's a Top 5 player of all-time. Great player, but extremely overhyped. Let me have it Kobetards.

  • @MSUSpartans43 better than you

  • @monkey6191 Really a person who gets paid millions of dollars to play basketball if better than me at basketball? What an astute observation.

  • @RealFan357 You also have to consider the fact that they both played in different eras. Sure, Jordan dominated games his entire career, but he only started winning championships when the league was becoming watered-down and the stars were aging. The defenses were different in the '90s than today's league. From the '90s to today, the total point averages of teams went down by over 10+. Coaches preach defense nowadays as opposed to 10 years ago. You can't really compare the two just like that.

  • smh... jalen is an idiot

  • make that five rings......

  • idk how that paragraph of kobe hating rage made a top comment especially with the nice contradiction of kobe taking 20000 shots in 1052 games and mj taking them in 857 and you're calling kobe the volume shooter when you just said he shoots way less per game? fuckin moron

  • @derrickforer

Kobe has 300 LESS playoff shot attempts than MJ, yet has MORE missed playoff shots than him.

    So who's the moron now?

  • Jalen Rose is the smartest analyst ESPN has this guy is the man. Listen to this guy, every other analyst and average nba fan will say kobe top 10 or even TOP 5!!!!!

hell no!! Kobe is not in the top ten, but he is top 20 without a doubt, if you say he's 21 or higher you're as big as an idiot if you say he's top 5.

  • ,,,,,Lebron can't win without Dwade.,,,,

  • @noformstyle nor can he with him...

  • @noformstyle he can't win WITH dwade...

  • @gimmenumbers I know, that statement was for the anticipation when he does when...haha.

  • @noformstyle lol

  • @noformstyle Dammit Lebron can't win with Dwade

  • @Bostonceltics264 That statement was made in anticipation if when? he does win... hehe

  • @noformstyle lebron can win with him

  • @garchomp119568 So do many mediocre players. Dwade Owned Lebron,

  • @noformstyle i meant cant

  • @garchomp119568 got u,,haha

  • @noformstyle Kobe can't win without Shaq or Gasol

  • @pingtv Except Gasol (he only made 2nd team ONCE in 9 years) is not a HOFer like Dwade.,,,Dwade is way better than Gasol,,, MJ, Bird, Magic, Russell, Chamberlin, West all had a HOFer on their team when they won the Championship...ONLY Kobe won Back to Back 09 and 10 Championship without a HOFer on his team..

  • @noformstyle I think you forgot Tim Duncan

  • @pingtv Read my post again, I said Back to Back,,Tim Duncan didn't do it Back to Back. It means Two years in the row.

  • @noformstyle Is winning back to back better than what Timmy did? And while I agree Gasol probably won't make the non international player HOF after this post season, he was definitely on track after 2009 and 2010. Actually Gasol played better than Kobe in 2010 Finals

  • @pingtv Back to Back is tougher to do, that is why DUNCAN can't do it...KOBE is better than Duncan, even Barkley place KOBE higher in all time great ranking. Gasol didn't play better than Kobe for all 7 games. Gasol did play better the last game. NBA Final is a SERIE not just 1 game or else Gasol would have won the Finals MVP that year. If Gasol wants to be a HOFer, in some point in his career he had to make NBA ALL 1ST TEAM, AT LEAST ONCE,,,you got to be the GUY in your position,

  • @noformstyle Duncan kept the Spurs in contention for 1 decade, winning all 4 of his rings as the number 1 player of the Spurs. That consistency and loyalty to the team (something Kobe lacks, but doesn't get shit for) has got to count for something. I'm not going to argue that Duncan is better than Kobe, I personally agree with you that Kobe is a better player. But I'm going to disagree that Duncan's championship pedigree is less just because Kobe has won back-to-backs.

  • @pingtv Parker won 2007 Final MVP.

  • @noformstyle yea but Duncan was the number 1. Shaq was final MVP from 2000-2002

  • @pingtv Shaq can't win without another HOFer on his team.

  • @noformstyle In my opinion, Gasol should have been Finals MVP in 2010 if we go strictly by who was better. On Kobe's 2 best games that series, the Celtics still won. Gasol was more important in the last 2 victories than Kobe was. And lets be honest. Kobe was an inefficient scorer in the Finals, and I'm not just talking about the 6 for 24. The man shot 40.5% this finals. And apparently 40% is his career average for NBA finals.

  • @pingtv If ur getting double or triple team most of time, 40% are pretty good..Ur or my opinion are just opinions, Fact is Kobe got the final 2010 trophy in his house and was given to him by professionals who watch and analyse basketball for living. Fact is Kobe won Back 2 Back and Duncan unable to do. I will trust MJ, Barkely, and Alvin Gentry's opinion about Kobe.

  • @noformstyle and kobe did it on his own!

    smh.

  • @noformstyle kobe cant win without a big man

  • @JaY19NY LOL, you need a better argument than that, every Fing team has a center. LMAO..

  • @noformstyle let me rephrase for your retarded ass. Kobe cant win without a hall of fame big man

  • @JaY19NY Haha, learn to write clearly Dumb Nigga,, Pau is not a HOFer, in 9 years, he made All NBA 2nd team ONCE. Want to be a HOFer, you better be the DOMINATE GUY in your position ONCE,,Make the 1st Team at least before talking about being a HOFer ,,,

  • @noformstyle pau gasol is a hall of famer u stupid n word. Black ppl like u ruin our rep

  • @noformstyle Cant win with dwade either......

  • top ten stop hatein on dude

  • @Timario007 I put Shaq ahead of Kobe. Who would you rather have? a PRIME Shaq or Kobe? Any logical man would say Shaq.

  • @NBAGOATS not really pistons won without a big man bulls won with out a big man miami looks like it also celtic in the 80's really didn't have 1 thats a nice argument bro i would take shaq he could open up ya offense and defense i love both they games but would be happy with either 1

  • @NBAGOATS but with prime shaq you also get that huge ego

  • top 25

  • Top 15...

  • He stole the list from kenny smith

  • MICHAEL JORDAN IS THE GREATEST...KOBE IS OVERATED GOOD..BUT OVERATED..PEOPLE NOW A DAYS ONLY GO BY RINGS..BUT NOBODY PAYS ATTENTION TO THE INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENTS SUCH AS KOBE'S...NUMEROUS AWARDS OF KOBE ARE NOT EVEN TRUE..THEY ARE MOSTLY GIVEN TO KOBE BCUZ THEHE IS TOY THAT THEY TRY TO MAKE SEEM LIKE JORDAN...KOBE IS NOT EVEN IN THE TOP 10 OF ALL TIME..FACTS ARE FACTS..AND IF YOU DONT LIKE HOW I TALKED ABOUT YOUR HERO "LAKER FANS".I DONT GIVE A FUCKIN SHIT BITCHES

  • @WhiteSoxxRunIt kobe over rated? HA lebron is the most over rated player the league has ever seen

  • @garchomp119568 that doesn't mean that Kobe is not overrated.

  • At this point and time Kobe is in the top 5. He wins another chip he is top 2. He wins another one..............he'll never get higher than 2.

  • kobe is goat

  • larry bird

  • Luke Walton 2. Lebitch 0

  • @kobeistheman100

    Walton?

  • Lol funny how he didn't mention Larry Bird

  • @nikehead10

LOL. - I was thinking the same thing. - When he said MJ, Magic - I thought he was going to Larry Bird, but he took a small breath and then said Kareem and kept going. Almost seem like he thought about saying Larry Bird, then dismissed the idea.

  • @onn1320 jalen rose on kobespn he does nt want to give a white guy like larry credit only true gentleman like magic give bird credit for being a basket genius. You seen espn's job is to pump kobe up and compare him to jordan as much as possible regardless of shit playoff preformances and extremely woeful career finals series the guy has had.Not one espn sports presenter can tell the true about Kobe and its a fucking disgrace

  • @nash3timemvp

I don't hear that many espn ppl comparing him to Jordan. - I only hear that from Haters and Homers. Jalen didn't even compare him to MJ on this piece. Kobe is 5 and 2 in the finals - so if that's extremely woeful I bet a whole lot of ringless NBA players would jump at the chance to be as woeful. I'm sorry, but when a player is in the top 10 all-time in scoring with the possibility to end his career in the top 3 he can't be too bad.

  • @onn1320 Hes got on top 10 scorers of all time with 0.454 field goal percentage which equals a volume shooter. He has the 3 worst 50 point games in terms of shooting efficiency of all time not to mention out of 25 of the worst 50 point games since 1986 in terms of efficiency Kobe has 10 of them.Kobe will not crack the top 10 players of all time maybe not even the top 20.He may be a top 10 guard. And to say he will end his career maybe in the top 3 is bullshit he is not better than magic or bird

  • @nash3timemvp

I don't core who's better than him and vice verse - that's not my argument - My argument is that he's great and will go down as one of the greatest or all time. - I care less who's better.

  • @onn1320

top 10 of all time? I never said he will be top 10 - Every top 10 list will be different. Just like Jalen's - I mean no Bird?

Some years ago. The came out with a 50 All-Time Greatest Players. - It wasn't in no particular order. Just the 50 greatest. - When you say "ppl like you" - Well ppl like me enjoys the NBA and any player that brings excitement to the game. - ppl like me just believe Great is one category. Either you're great ot you're not.

  • @onn1320 You see people like you dont look at all the stats you only look at certain areas maybe if you opened your eyes and actually looked at the guys field goal % you would notice its not that special when hes jacking up shots left right and center of course he was going to make that list.Hell ray allen a out and out shooter whos got the 3 point record his field goal % is 0.452 over his career A SHOOTER just .2 behind kobe.Another great shooter dirk has 0.476 over his career kobe=overrated

  • @nash3timemvp

Ur right, I don't look at stats - because I don't compare - Comparisons are for Haters and Homers. every great player is great in his own rite. and to score that many points is not easy (volume shooter or not) And 45% isn't bad for a "shooter" - One of the purest shooters of all time shots around that %

And when you keep bringing up players like LBJ, Dirk, etc. - You're only telling on your self. - If he was so garbage - ppl would find some of the best to compare him to.

  • @onn1320 One of the purest shooters of all time shot 45? Who?

  • @NBAGOATS

Ray Allen's career average. - He's had individual seasons where he shot high 40's including this season, but for his career it's at 45% - Peja too. Also Chuck Person and Dell Curry were known as sharp shooters and they shot around 45% for their career.

  • @onn1320 Ray Allen is a good 3 pt shooter. Thats it. Anything else offensively he's garbage and inefficient. The guy can hardly make a decent layup. I doubt he even make it to the HOF under any other pretense (if at all) other than 3pt shooting. Its all he will be remembered for. The rest of his game is almost nonexistent.

  • @NBAGOATS

He wasn't even known as a 3-point specialist until his Boston years - With Mil. and Seas. - He was just considered a scorer. And we're not talking about whether or not they're HOF - we're talking about players with sweet jump shots that shot around 45%. - 45% is not that bad for someone that takes a lot of shoots outside the paint. And I wouldn't even know Curry or Person was pure shooters if I never heard an analyst say it for I rarely seen them play.

  • @NBAGOATS

And I don't care where Kobe belongs - He's one of the greatest period. I never argued where he belongs so save that for a Homer. But saying outside of top 50 is still good. - I mean there's been 1000's of NBA players

  • @NBAGOATS Are U Stupid Did U See Him In His Prime When He Was With Th Bucks Dude Yo Ass Need Help

  • @NBAGOATS ray allen has the most 3s ever made in nba history he automaticly in the hall of fame haha u dont kno what you talkin bout ...smh

  • @onn1320 Those players you mentioned were all streaky inefficient players. Not HOF caliber. Never heard anyone refer to them as a "Pure shooter". If you want to put Kobe in those class of players then OK. You're probably right. Thats probably where he belongs. OUTSIDE of the top 50 players.

  • @NBAGOATS haha you cant name 50 players better than kobe HELL YOUCANT EVEN NAME 20 kobe bryant is top 10 right now and IF..IF he works hard he will be 2nd best of all time

  • MJ never got 81 in a game was because he never had to. And that's regular season. The regular season rarely mattered to Michael. It's the playoffs where MJ excelled. No one still hasnt beat that 63 point playoff record. Also, go great defensive players these days. I'd love to see kobe try to dunk on Bill Laimbeer or Kevin McHale. Most of you who think Kobe's the best ever are probably too young to remember what MJ did. Even Kobe thinks MJ's the greatest. Go to bed, you have school tomorrow.

  • what is everyone arguing about? All the guy said was Kobe was top 10 all time. Is that such a bold statment to fuel arguement?

  • I wonder if Kobe will ever play for another team.

  • When kobe retires he going to be known the world greatest basketball player

NOT michael Jordan, NOT magic, NOT Wilt KOBE!!
