It's actually compressed aluminum. The saber is thin and light and moves great. I agree that some MRs are hard to move, but I think the best sabers are the Luke ROTJ and the Obi-Wan ROTS
No problem--but really, it is all about the WORK. Anyone who puts actual effort, dedication, time & WORK into [insert subject/hobby/skill here]... they are going to do well.
So... don't underestimate the skills you've built! If you think about it--it makes sense. You have spent a lot of work on spins, transitions, flowing, wrist, etc. It shows, and pays off when you're able to help others, no matter what experience they have with OTHER skills or OTHER concepts.
Hey Shade, me again, I still can't get that 360 strike. I'm not understanding the behind the back part or the bring the saber in instead of out. Could you try to explain this better to me in words or, if it's not that much trouble, a video? I'd really appreciate it!
I don't know how to thank you!!! This is unbelieveable!!! I'm speechless that you would do that for me!!! I can't find the words to express my gratitude! Thank you soooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!
Hey Shade, you rock!!!!!!! You've helped me so much on my lightsaber skills that I look like a pro to my friends. I'm still trying to get the 360 strike right. That one's pretty hard, but it's my favorite move ever! Anakin uses that in Episode III. I would've given you comments earlier, but i just got signed up. Anyway, you are awesome and thanks for your help!!!
Hehehah, great! It makes me so happy to hear that you've made such progress. It only takes a few spins to look like a pro eh? Oh, and by the way, that one handed 360 strike is one of my favorites too, it's so badass XD
I have trouble being fluid with my wrists mainly because i am 6 foot 4 inches tall and am 250 FIT pounds. I am naturally lethargic and have used more of a traditional two hand style from the first films.
I'll keep practicing but feel like i may have to develop my own style of wielding borrowing some of your stuff you are showing and mixing it with what makes comfortable.
No problem, I love making these vids, I just want to help ;) I'm about 200 pounds myself, but I can't imagine how hard it must be with your strong build. I really hope you develop that personal style and approach. Always remember, it's all truly about balance!

There is a difference between spinning weappons and fighting with them, I know this from personal experience.
Good dexterity looks nice and helps with attack to attack flow and even improves grip so you don't dsisarm so quickly but...
This does NOT automatically make you or me a trained fighter. Genuine training is a MUST.
(NOTE: If this is read at a later date than the time of posting I may be a fully trained combatant by now)

123elmagno123 3 years ago
Thats a PVC hilt isnt it? I tried to do this with me MR metal FX sabers and its impossible, those things are was too heavy to move that fast

Great video :D, That saber seems to have a very thin hilt, I don't have big hands so that would help me, which one is it?
