@vendettaAOF - In this video he playing a Takamine at the time he also played Tacoma guitars as well - currently Travis plays Taylor Guitars exclusively, and has certain models that are used for certain songs. (i.e. He uses one of his Taylor Koa's for "The Down Town", a Taylor Jumbo for "Dancing with the Wind", etc etc.) The Taylor acoustic guitars really seam to do an amazing job with vibrant and accurate low end.

@vendettaAOF It goes further than the guitar he's playing, its his down tone-ing to 1/2 a step to a whole step depends on the song, he also includes pedals and the pick up he attaches to the guitar is a factor also, Ive seen him use Takamine to Taylor Guitars, I personally like the Taylor feel better than the Takamine, (personal chose) cant go wrong with either... His acoustic playing is awsome totally dig this style of rock, wish there were more bands like Days of the New

His music has grown from this angry teen to a man who is more about his art and not letting some major label take his music and shit on it like all the bands out today. Thats why he has not siged with some major label, he is more about his art than being a puppet of the music industry like about every band on the radio these day.
