He was in the New Jersey area, and he was at some other school performing, and I'm not sure how, but our Band Director, Mr. Reimer, who had helped set up the IAJE in New Jersey, managed to get him to come to our school. Everyone in our band had to sell a couple seats in our performing arts center to cover the costs, but a little fund raising was worth the concert. Especially getting to have him work on some stuff with us. It comes down to a combination of luck and knowing the right people.
