One of my all time favorite bands....missing Harriet...absolutely gorgeous to listen to....and easy on the eyes (to say the least)....great music....no sampling, no ripping off someone elses music...straight originality.
I loved Static & Silence so much, as well their other records. But S&S is my favorite album of theirs, and it pained me that they quit making music right after releasing that masterpiece. Harriet is just so enchanting, and her husband is one of the most underrated guitarists ever. Great stuff that has stood the test of time.
Tragically almost forgot about The Sundays until I stumbled upon this posting. Discovered them on MTV many years ago when "Here's Where the Story Ends" video started showing. Love this video especially as Harriet is exceptionally lovely in it - David is a lucky guy!!! From a Romantic Piscean.

very fortunate to see them during the RW&A tour in 1992. I was attending FSU at the time and the concert was free to college students. You dont see that nowadays in this economy which is kind of sad. Anyway I loved them in highschool and when the opportunity came to see them live and free no less I jumped at the chance. So glad I did they were great live! Harriet's voice is just as beautiful in the live setting

OMG! I found it! I saw this video a few times in 1997 on MTV, always meaning to write down the name of the song and band but never doing so. This is such a beautiful song - the music, the vocal, and the lyrics are so complex - making fun of cliche romances and personal ads - yet maybe it's really love after all. An absolutely perfect pop moment from a great progressive band.
I miss the music of the 90's. While grunge ruled the planet bands like the Sundays kept it grounded and real. This is pure feel good music, nothing more and nothing less.

OMG! I found it! I saw this video a few times in 1997 on MTV, always meaning to write down the name of the song and band but never doing so. All I could remember about the video is a girl in a short dress and the way the camera went up and over and back around. I held out hope that one day I would find it again and, many years later, I have! This is so great!

This is such a beautiful song - the music, the vocal, and the lyrics are so complex - making fun of cliche romances and personal ads - yet maybe it's really love after all. An absolutely perfect pop moment from a great progressive band.

haha great days on this....used to work at a restaurant on the beach in corpus christi during high school....they always used to play this song.....i always worked the patio that went right up to the water....PIER 99 totaly great days.....

Beautiful Sound, Great Band...very skilled, and an Angel and her voice that just sends me to a completely far away place. I KNOW Harriet is prettier than ANY woman currently working in films or music...I not only want her to have all my babies, but also put her in my pocket and take care of her and make her feel loved for the rest of her life! She is simply gorgeous!!!!

this was I think there effort to break and make it into the pop mainstream, but it didn't just happen. 90's was grunge and depression not "you and me in the summertime, hand in hand down in the park." But very sweet. Doesn't hurt that Harriet is cute as hell!

@MIvarsson99 I disagree. I know it's a matter of personal taste, but I find her very attractive, especially in this video. With her blue/grey eyes, shapely, petite figure, the short dress, flip flops, and just the right amount of make-up, she shines with a "natural" beauty.
