This is the best presentation of the 'Head Mover' I have EVER seen, FANTASTIC, better than Copperfield's version, met you guy's in Blackpool once in the Tower Ballroom, your so modest and nice people, wish you even more success in your amazing career, great to see a UK act doing so well, I wish that you would drop the comedy walk thing though and go a lil bit more stylish for audiences outside the Chuckle Bro stuff, you could pull it off believe me guy's.
I think that the emphasis on the comic has to do with Stuart Loughland not wanting to take himself too seriously, and his general demeanour suits that mood. When his wife Jayne worked with her brother Marc Whincup (as 'Marc & Jayne'), they did do things pretty straight, and it would have been interesting to see how they'd have handled the 'torment' illusions in Saffire's repertoire.
The main thing to remember is that while the comedy thing isn't to everyone's taste, Safire are successful illusionists. I haven't seen them live yet, but from what I've seen here on YouTube, they pull off all their illusions more cleanly and smoothly than many other illusionists. The comedy is something that makes their style unique, and it should remain so.
I agree, X-man. They may not dress as informally as the late, great Doug Henning (their personal idol). But, they don't take themselves as seriously as the ultra-gothic Criss Angel, either. And, most importantly of all? When it comes to the Metamorphosis (my favorite illusion), they don't obscure it with pyrotechnics or smoke effects. The switch is made in plain view (except for the customary blanket, of course). Just like the Pendragons still do it!
very good illusionists. they tour with the Chuckle Brothers and I love them, they are just great.

Indeed. Safire are something truly special in the world of magic, they hide all their techniques under nothing but comedy and a cheesy grin.
Fantastic stuff. =)
