I've been to Kenya Nairobi and Mombassa and all I hear is white expat settlers whining about how Kenyans are this or Kenyans are that if they don't like Kenya. They should leave these assholes won't be missed.

This is an extremely one-sided view propagating the laughable assertion that Mau Mau did not exist. That is pure denialism. After independence Joseph Murumbi, Kenya's second Vice-President from May-December 1966 - who is extensively quoted here - was horrified at Mzee Jomo Kenyatta's heavy hand in dealing with opposition and the increasing corruption creeping into government. So much for the freedom of the masses.
