In case you didnt know, 'mushrikun' in this ayat refered specifically to the pagans of Mecca. They were the open enemy of Muhammad, but the 2 parties had formed a 10year peace treaty. I would recommend that you read different tafsirs of the Qur'an. Don't rely on just on tafsir. The Qur'an is not an easy book to translate, thus different translators might give a different translations. Peace
