@luxyaltz219 I really appreciate your comments and hope the record companies don't sue me for enhancing these recordings! I don't mean any disrespect toward the studios.

Most of ONJ's music needs no enhancing and they would probably be ruined if they were. It's just a select few that I noticed could be enhanced for maximum listening pleasure. The verse with the clapping offers something more --the song should be building up as it goes on and the added clapping does that nicely!

I have to tell you that the quality I hear played back on youtube is only have as clear as the original wave file plus it has much more volume. That recording would almost blow your headphones out! I wish I could upload that kind of quality to Youtuve. So as good as it might sound to you fans it is a let down when I hear the comparison. It sounds clean and crisp cause I used a digital copy and restored the high frequency range with a digital EQ , added a 3 band compressor and stereo reverb.

@jackstpaul Specific answer to that question! The CD's are disappointing in that they lack compression and proper equalization--that is--"Flat as a pancake and muddled". That is why I loved listening to FM radio back in the 70's. Compress but don't over compress that it clips. You need a 50/50 mix of compression and dynamics. Then up the equalization on the high end (last 3 bands) and then add some studio reverb. I use a pair of Sony MDR-NC7 headphones for all my recordings!
