i have a good prank. first, you need to open snipping tool...snip the desktop and save it. select "hide desktop icons" and put the menu bar ontop of the computer...make sure to hide it too...select your desktop background...the net time someone tries to use a desktop icon, it doesnt respond...also if the person tries to press the start button, it wont work either.

you can change the dot color when applications are open on mac by going to

Macintosh>Library>Core Services>Right Click Dock and press show package contents.

than open a image editing program and change the color of the blue dot.

Make sure you go under VLC and hit apple L. This will repeat the video so it can be a never ending desktop animation rather than just making it last the duration of the video. If more than one vid is playing, got to Window<Playlist and delete every other vid from the playlist except the one you want as your background. Done :)
