It actually means something else, it's decicated to Aung San Suu Kyi, a "...leader of the nonviolent movement for human rights and the restoration of democracy in Myanmar..." so she fights for peace and stuff like that, and he's saying "Don't give up, it's amazing what you're doing". But don't get me wrong, the wonder of music is that can make feel different things in each person. :)

Yeah, I don't think the video captured whatever the director was going for. Bono looked like a John Lennon/Trent Reznor hybrid (with a little too great makeup job) playing in a garage. It might have been better off had it focused on Suu Kyi or any other persevering nonviolent issue.
