  • He's Sweating probably because of the lighting, I worked for a theater company rigging lights etc......they are hot as anything!

  • Mick is THE MAN!!!!!

  • @pipewatcher

You da Man Mick.... You da Man

  • wow, excellent playing!!

  • Fantastic tune played by a brilliant musician, maith thú, a Mick!

  • Wow, great stuff, lyrical and energetic.

  • wow im not even irish, im a dominican accordion player from new york, but it just goes to show what music does, this guy plays beautifully, anyone know his name?

  • Mick O'Brien

  • thanx ma man

  • He says "composed by Tom Ennis", but i thin he means James Ennis, Seamus' father. Tom Ennis was a different, unrelated piper from Chicago, i think.

  • The Morning Thrush is one of my favourite reels and this performance is great!

  • Wow. That was truly amazing. I'm a beginner level piper and people like him really inspire me.

  • is it the truth that he played with the Dubliners?

  • Ahh Mick what a ledge, lives down the road

  • Mick O'Brien a real maestro, and the morning thrush makes me feel very happy. Thanks.

  • God bless this musician!

He is touching me to my heart with his music!

  • He's in a studio and studios are hot places that's why he's sweating also he's concentrating.

  • Oh. I thought he was sweating because the fourth regulator made the set too heavy for comfort.

  • It's not Caoimhin O'Raghallaighm, you idiot. It's Mick O'Brien.

  • Very dolce, that set. Me likev

  • Man what a great preformance!

Haha he's drippin sweat too, the Morning Thrush is pretty much the sweetest reel ever written.

  • @sacredsong That's studio lights for you :)

  • how did i subscribe to you but i didnt never seen you i dont even know what this is!

  • I'm pretty sure that its Mick O'Brien playing there

  • what is his uilleann pipes made out of it looks like nikel or sterling silver

  • It looks like an Alain Froment set. Except for his Willie Rowsome concert pitch set. Mick's plays all Froment sets. Sounds like C, didn't know he had an AF C set too...must be nice.

  • MY GOD who made his uilleann pipes and what key are they in it sounds like a B orBb

  • If you listen, he says that "it's a longer chanter because it's a C"

    ^^

  • yeah they are in C, but if you want to here a Bb set check out his CD, "Kitty Lie Over" it's really good and the fiddler he plays with is amazing as well! (i can't remember his name due to the fact that it's a really long awkward irish one haha ^^)

  • it's caoimhin o raghallaigh, and he's the shit!

  • there ya go!

and he is definitely that too!

  • Great! Thanks for posting.
