this is absolutely beautiful. music has such power- to defy, sever and cut across all barriers created by humans, namely the labels of race, nationality, religion, etc.
Michał Rudaś was born in 1981 in Warsawa, the capital of Poland and is native Polish but he studied raga singing at Sanskrit University w Varanasi, India.

fantastic rendition - this man has an amazing voice and it's so nice to hear nusrat's work from a different angle. incredible effort and great to see the Kings' legacy lives on across the world!
Niech zostawi Indie, Pakistan i bliski wschód w spokoju, albo niech jeszcze trochę popracuje.
Not a bad effort - but in terms of sticking to the actual words, this is a bit like chinese whispers - this guy obviously skipped the Nusrat version and only listened to the Bukley cover...
Like someone else commented here... this is a heck of an effort. Not easy for trained singers from the subcontinent, let alone a European. Good stuff... music across all boundries. And truly a great tribute to a great musician. Good bless.
and these people show that thereis something spiritual about this kind of music, that it reaches people who dont even understand the deepest part of it. These are the times I am glad I can understand different languages.
apart from the way Quwalis are sung, if you could understand the double entendre meaning of everything, they open up your mind to a greater human comphrehension of Joyous belief in the relationship between God,his prophets and the common man.

yeh jo halka halka saroor hey (oh this little delightful soothing feeling)
