  • MS >>>>>>> SD

  • lol Ryusei...

  • A question. How to combine the voltes machines into voltes v in this game? I am at stage 4 and i never managed to form the voltes v, except for stage 1 when it combines automatically at the beginning of the stage.

  • Finished this one way back 1999 I think..

Usou and Domon ruled this game, after image FTW!!

  • Wow, Non-SD. That's something I won't get used to.

  • the 1st time i saw the combination video i was like wow!!! it was so awesome. really brings back a lot of memory. had been too free during CNY so just pick up a copy of SRW and am playing MX now. so come into youtube to look at SRW vids. lol

  • The only bummer is that you have to choose between G Gundam or Wing and that Voltes leaves for good at some point. But, I'm impressed that this not only introduced SRX Team, but also Zphylud.

  • hehe a

  • Hey, HEY, HEEEEEY!

Isn't that the manga version Shin Getter?!

  • It definitely has that touch, but Benkei is a little different.

  • Does anyone know the site to download the rom of this game I MUST KNOW!!!

  • Its technically not a ROM, its an ISO. Google it.

  • i have one on our very first playstation!

  • Allenby Rules.

  • So, THIS is the first appearance of the SRX Team

  • Just to let you guys know, this is where the SRX team made their first Debut.

  • Yeah, Gundam wing is not a TEAM PLAYER He goes in and out!

  • Why do all the weapons in this game look so... phallic?

Also, you forgot to mention Char's Counter Attack.

  • not too much wing gundam scene

  • this game only has tallgeese and wing gundam (for Gundam Wing series)

  • This classic never dies

  • Wow. That was pretty random.

  • This game is good, although I find it a bit too easy. It's very hard to run out of senshin. Isn't this the first SRW game to have voices for every character, including grunts? And Wing Gundam in this game is a pretty weak unit, not worth the trouble of getting him to join you.

  • Sekiha Tenkyoken one of my favorite moves Go Domon!

  • i bought that in japan ten years ago!

  • Layzner? That's pretty cool.

  • Masoukishin for snes is older than this and is non-sd (i suppose it's "technically" not srw)

I finished both routes back in the day, and the conclusion is that G-gundam is imbalance :P

  • And I finished both routes, took me months due to loading speed...but it's cool and worth(?) it because the two teams gather for a final stage. Though you can kill every enemy by just sending out V2AB and G gundam...

  • WAY to much Gundam in this video. How exciting is it when pretty much EVERY Gundam's big attack is either a big energy beam or fin funnels. BORING! Give me Super Robots like Getter or Mazinger any day.

I prefer the SD games too. The more realistic graphic style strips away a lot of the charm of the series.

  • I agree that I focus way too much on Gundam series...only because they are indeed a big part of my childhood memories. However, attacks of super robots like Getter and Mazinger are the same almost every series...I think it's even more boring watching their attacks. That's why I like playing Lord of Elemental and original robots, because they attacks are very creative and a lot of times very surprising.

  • I agree, and don't forget there's G gundam here! No beams but Baaaaaarukaaaan...

And I'd love to see the complete sequence of each move/weapon if possible, miss the old times...

  • Maybe the authors are concerned about when the robots will...stop seeming like robots. I mean, some of the Banpresto originals seem like they'd fit into a fantasy story rather than robot one.

  • Cybuster is a mech made in a magical land under the earth powered by a Wind Spirt.

They've pretty much always been kinda "fantasy" like. :P

  • ugh, I couldn't disagree more with Richter. Give me real robots any day, and V Gundam is one of my favorites.

If you're going to call RRs boring, I might as well go ahead and say that the main target audience for a lot of Super Robot shows is the 8-13 age bracket. But it's not worth getting into a fight over.

  • i like the SD's better.. they're cuter

  • Like SD SRW games, the robots in this game doesn't move a lot. It would be interesting if the robots in Alpha series are not SD...

  • sd also helps with scaling/sizes

  • better animation too, easier to manipulate coz they're small

  • Not really. The only reasonwhy this one has limited animation is because the game is old. If it were made now, it have much more animation. Games were SD originally because of graphical and technology setbacks, but now theres no other reason for it other than the popularity for it.
