I would advise watching one of those matches before insulting his wrestling skills, because you sir, are ignorant.

The reason his match with CM Punk at Money in the Bank was a five star match is because of the emotion, the drama, and the storyline heading into the match. Plus, Punk winning and leaving the company with the title added greatly to the match. There were a couple botches, but it was still a great match.

He has requested to go heel many times but WWE makes too much money from his colourful merch and doesnt want to alienate the audience he brings to the table, aka kids. Schedules can change in an instant on film sets. 1 month of shooting to 3 months of shooting due to one location falling through. It happens all the time on major films. I doesn't surprise me he hasn't shown up yet.

The invasion storyline for example turned Austin into a bit of a joke by the end of it and Rock was easily the fan favorite. If you're talking about the early Attitude era which was mainly started by DX and Austin then yes, of course Rock wasn't as popular. By the end of the era though, he was their big gun.

an injury hindered dwyne's promissing post collegiate football career. as a wrestler, he struggled early on try to be as great as his father, while getting booed at every area around the country. he stuck it out and became LEGENDARY at a time with other greats around him(taker, stone cold, hhh, mankind..). john cena is still trying to work a marky mark character. in a normal world, both their names shouldn't even be in the same sentence.

The reason his match with CM Punk at Money in the Bank was a five star match is because of the emotion, the drama, and the storyline heading into the match. Plus, Punk winning and leaving the company with the title added greatly to the match. There were a couple botches, but it was still a great match.

He has requested to go heel many times but WWE makes too much money from his colourful merch and doesnt want to alienate the audience he brings to the table, aka kids. I love both of these wrestlers as much as many other people but it doesn't get that serious for me. And selling out is selling out. stone cold NEVER made The Rock , stone cold never put over Rock before WM 19 in a one on one match , hell even the way he dropped the IC title to Rock in 1998 was in a way that austin got over , not Rock
Rock made the Rock , when austin was champion in 99 , rock scored an 8.4 rating , he was out-popping , and out-drawing austin everywhere
2000 was WWF's most successful year ever , and guess who was the top guy ? The Rock .. and austin wasn't even around that year

@OneBloodOneGame lol what? first off, Rock easily outdrew scsa in his prime because he was the most adored face WWF had. Their pops heavily depended on the situation. The invasion storyline for example turned Austin into a bit of a joke by the end of it and Rock was easily the fan favorite. If you're talking about the early Attitude era which was mainly started by DX and Austin then yes, of course Rock wasn't as popular. By the end of the era though, he was their big gun.

@OneBloodOneGame i think the pops went is accordance of the situation. at WM 15 SCSA def out popped the rock. rock was new at main eventing yet he was a heel that the crowd loved. at WM 17 they wrestled in Texas both as faces. obviously austin's home state is not gonna boo him. their final battle austin was face and rock still garnered a fair amount of pops. rock and austin were pretty even in terms of crowd response. if WM 17 was in Miami Rock woulda out popped Austin.

For the us the people who actually witnessed the attitude era stone cold and rock are both on the same level when it comes to fav's no one is better then the other its like comparing apples to oranges, you can pefer one then the other though. And you not liking the rock because he isnt a wrestler anymore doesnt make any sense to me, I mean jericho is focusing on his rock band but i'm still a fan of his, why hate on someone for doing something besides wrestling?

an injury hindered dwyne's promissing post collegiate football career. as a wrestler, he struggled early on try to be as great as his father, while getting booed at every area around the country. he stuck it out and became LEGENDARY at a time with other greats around him(taker, stone cold, hhh, mankind..). john cena is still trying to work a marky mark character. in a normal world, both their names shouldn't even be in the same sentence.
