How do you get the dragon to stand there and breath fire forward? I can do this 100% up to that. It either flies up and breaths down, or flies back on the bridge and breaths forward toward me.

@NeitsabesBlog It's just the Drake Sword. Same thing that everyone has been getting by arrowing the tail from down below the bridge.

Drakes Sword is pretty good for beginner levels but I noticed it doesn't level up with you. So you're stuck with the damage output it's at until you move on to a better weapon.

go pyro get drake sword

get gargoyle tail (chop its tail off) level it up from the black smith fill it up with electricity etc. make sure you can wield it with your Str level as well and dext both req 16

You don't have to fight the Taurus Demon at all, and who cares about the Drake Sword when you can get the Gravelord's Sword.

Actually if you know what you're doing it's obtainable about 10 minutes after leaving the asylum. Run into the crypt, running past all the enemies or kicking them off cliffs. Run PAST the coffin and past the demon to get eyes of death, then run back to the coffin. Quit the game to drop agro, then reload. You'll be right at the coffin. Join covenant, receive sword.

@Sommunist the crypt is where? i have yet to beat the game so i have no clue where the gravelord is but i want his sword!..

@Kyzatir It's near firelink shrine where the skeletons are, when go down the stairs kill the first two skeletons then the next two should be at a fork that goes left and right, kill them and go left and its around the outcropping there.

@imJonny7 Grab Homeward Bones, get into the Catacombs, get the Gravelord Sword, warp back, down to Valley of the Drakes, get through Darkroot Basin to Andre's bonfire, kill the Gargoyles, go back down, go into Blighttown through the Valley of the Drakes, take out Quelaag, Ceaseless Discharge and Gold-Hemmed Black Robes, warp back, and from there on it's a little less obvious.

@imJonny7 There's a number of consumable souls down in the Valley of the Drakes, including at least one Large Soul of a Proud Knight and I think two Large Souls of a Nameless Soldier. That's a good 5,000 souls right there, and Pyromancer starts with a decent amount of strength so you only need to put in four levels to use the Gravelord Sword in two hands at 16 strength. This will pretty much eat through the game up to the Iron Golem, I believe.
