If I had been Darrin I would have partied with all the money and beer and boats that Sam could have twitched for me constantly instead of working for Larry. Of course, it would be boring to watch Darrin on the couch saying Sam I need a couple hundred grand and not always getting into hot water working for Larry. Dick Sargent was a good replacement for York and an explanation should have been made why York could not carry the role because of his back pain to enhance Sargent's acceptance.
