Stunning Jewess Lauren Bacall lost her freshness, akin to an spent HO, early on -- smoke, booze, drugs and bed hopping antics wrote themselves into her looks, stripping away any attractiveness -- her hard-boiled existence (though in this film still a teen) eventually took over. Bogart was a perv, in the orbit of twice the girl's age and ruined her: his weirdness really comes through -- look at his puke body (a specimen of male fitness: not), and that mug: like a dog-shit-pile: NEXT!
Laren to me is the concept of what REAL beauty is in hollywood, not plastic surgery, tummy tucks, or botox(spellcheck please)... beautiful for all the right reasons. The last pic here by the way is stunning!!!
nobody fits bogie better than lauren bacall. not any other actress he worked with. these two were made for eachother truly and by definition, i believe. they represent a sacred union and calm friendship between two people, love and respect between a man and a woman. I've never seen a more stable and beautiful couple, if only they had more time together...
the first time i saw Lauren Bacall, i thought she was extremely gorgeous. a knock out. breathtaking.
the amazing thing about that is that her presence is so natural. she doesnt wear a lot of makeup. it just looks so bare. like its all her--un-gilded, unfooled with, plain and simple. thats true beauty. she personifies that timeless concept of tangible natural beauty
Ms. Bacall is still alive and well, and is considered a living legend. I think that if she were to come across this, she would be very honored to see herself recognized this way.
great video! all these photos are great. she's my favorite actress and in my opinion, easily one of the most beautiful women ever. i would kill to look like her. she had such class and style, even going through some pretty tough times.
WoW,great Tribute, like Charleston I want to know the song? Great video, reminds me of Film Noir,I love the last pic,and she was very pretty in an unconventional way!
I like Lauren Bacall, she is a very classy woman, beautiful. I have not yet watch movies with bogie but I could see her talent in "how to marry with a millionar" with marilyn and betty grabble. What is the song you have put with this tribute?
Thank you! No, she wasn't in Casablanca, that was Ingrid Bergman. Though Lauren did make 4 movies with Bogie. They fell in love while making "To Have and Have Not'. If you haven't seen that movie you should. You can feel their chemistry and totally tell they had the hots for eachother. It's fun to see. Also check out "The Big Sleep". Another great film noir with Bogie and Bacall.
That very last picture was awsome!

Redrosebutterfly13,
this is a great tribute to 1940s It Girl
Lauren Bacall (born 1924).
Ms. Bacall is still alive and well, and is considered a living legend. I think that if she were to come across this, she would be very honored to see herself recognized this way.
Great Job!
