  • the trumpet is a Selmer (balanced model), the mpc is not a Heim, but indeed a Parduba

  • @BunkLaplace Harry played on H.N. White trumpets

  • Harry plays great here I was interested in seeing him shake his right hand to get that great vibrato, and the trumpet may have been a Selmer and the trump[et mouthpiece looked unusual, maybe a Heim. I play trumpet and always like to check out those things when seeing other trumpetplayers play their trumpet.

  • @Johnflugelhorn I read that Harry liked using a Parduba #28 mouthpiece...not sure if the one in this video is it...looks similar but not sure

  • where can you watch the full movie or can u upload it please???

  • @violinlurrve It's a GREAT movie. I only have the musical sections (most of which I've uploaded) - but I THINK it's available on DVD.

  • Harry put a fairly straight-ahead dance band version of "All the World is Mine" (this tune) on the flip side of his Columbia 78 rpm of "White Christmas." It is quite a lovely arrangement and a real shame that it has never been reissued in any form. The piece just works better as a 4/4 ballad fox-trot.
