nitrosucks? i for 1 think nitro motors are the bees knees , but now heres a big but lol electric parts are now starting to get very cheap ! so now ive gone lipo and brushless technology and trust me its stunning power to weight ratio is nuts , i dont mind missing the expensive nature of the glow fuel days :) but i do miss the smell and noise of it :(

personally with aircraft electric i think is the way to go but if your talkin rc cars nitro is awesome.

nothin like the smell of nitro smoke after it comes out of the engine.

lol electronic motors sound so weak, lol the planes themselves are cool but you totally have a loss in interest when you hear those soft lil electric engines..... I imagine that's how a unicorn's fart sounds.....

Nitro sucks. Its dirty, fuel is expensive, you have to buy all the extra crap that goes with it. The only time nitro is better is when you get into larger scale planes when it would be just too expensive to buy a motor to make the same power output. With electric it is simple. Batteries, charger, plane, and transmitter. And they are cheaper until you start getting into larger than 1/4 scale. And really, sound has nothing to do with the fun in flying. Unicorn fart is accurate though...lol

@TWOLF365 I prefer nitro. Just need a gallon or two of fuel for the entire season ($15 a gallon of %15 nitro) and you fly can fly 20 minute flights and then just refuel for 5sec and put er back in the air. No need to carry like 10 $100 batteries. The nitro's got the sound and the fun electric just can't compete with. Only thing extra you need for nitro is glow driver and fuel.

@skinnywhop87 I'll stick with electric thanks. Gas is dirty and disgusting and in my opinion does not sound nice at all, in fact most gas planes sound like annoying lawn mowers.
