  • The Best LARGO AL FACTOTUM! Bravo, T-J Yang!!!

  • Bravo from Italy!

  • 목소리와 외형이전혀어울리지않고발음이쫌거부스럽지만잘한다!

  • @lunovintoys is from Figaro's shop in Korea.

  • Didn't know Harold from Harold and Kumar could do this!

  • agréablement surpris bravo

  • AND NOW? WHERE IS THIS BARITONO? CANTA ?

  • A beautiful young, light voice and I predict we will be hearing a LOT more of this young man presently. He at least didn't get too tongue-tied as this aria tends to do to even the BEST baritones, lol! I wish him well and hope I'll see him at the Met one of these days.

  • sushi never beats lasagna

  • @prof585 umm... this guy's Korean... sushi?

  • @prof585 The sushi isn't from Korea... It is from Japan.. :D

  • @prof585 idiot cracker

  • His voice is perfection and beauty = D

  • cojonudo!!!

  • So Weak Performance...

  • Wow incredibile come sempre adoro quest'OPERA ! >XXDDD

  • Nice! Like this kind of stuff!

  • Right, I am not really into this kind of music so I can't tell wether he's good or not (although I really like his voice and the way he sings) but I am italian and I reckon his pronunciacion is just great...no foreign accent, not even the slightest bit...well done!!!

  • Ugh, he's a bit behind the music though...

  • @gnostie Right it's too much old-fashioned. Justin Bieber very better, right?

  • @FilosofiadiCazzeggio

The soloist lags behind orchestra in terms of tempo and at times it feels like he is straining to catch up. And what, pray tell, does Justin Bieber have to do with anything music-related???

  • @FilosofiadiCazzeggio are you kidding, did you mean that Bieber is better? He can't sing like that....

  • @gnostie Could you point a moment for example ?

  • lool bin ein luder

  • I still believe that the best version is that of CARLOS JULIO RAMIREZ. I recommend it

  • he's great! it's like a studio recording :)

  • PUTAIN !!! Cette VOIX !!! Déciment l' Asie nous donne des chanteurs !... nos new peuvent prendre leçons !!!

  • Magnificent. I particular like seeing the orchestra.

  • Magnificent.

  • da pelle d'oca... eccezionale

  • This is the greatest one I have haerd.. Bravo...

  • se olle bien pero pordios has la cancion completa porfabor. q desepcion tiene buena boz

  • ey ich wiege 300 kilo

  • My mate has to sing this for his music exam at school, poor boy. People will then find out he can sing properly and not sing screamo. :P

  • Congratulation! Never thought there are asians who can sing in europian/italian so clear. Their language is so different from europian its hard for them to learn it. But he is perfect-- just listening, u will never know its an asian singing. Fantastic performance of a fantastic masterpiece.

  • @userfen European is not a language...

  • @userfen You've never heard of Sumi Jo? I also suggest listening to Yonghoon Lee he is a Korean tenor who has made a spectacular debut at the Met last year in the title role in Don Carlo - I was there and he was amazing. There are others too. There is also an opera theater in Beijing and there are Western operas performed there. Also check Ying Huang. There are many others.

  • Who else pretended they were singing?

Haha, this kind of music makes me so happy :)

  • STUNNING... One would never expect such a deep and clean voice coming out from an initially fragile looking man.

  • @elemileTLDR "Fragile"? The Koreans are a damn sight harder than most Westerners. Four years of obligatory military service and with North Korea for a neighbour - I think a spot of opera isn't the worst they have to go through.

  • @Cantocourse actually it's more or less two years.

  • Great! All that's missing is a woodpecker going crazy with shaving cream and a barber's brush!

  • For such a small Asian he have a very big voice. Really love it

  • Ottima interpretazione anche qualcosa in più....Complimentissimi!!!!

  • BRAVO!!

  • Unbelievable! Wow!

  • Super! Bravissimo!

  • yep.. pronunciation is amazing for a korean!! I thought that ''tralala'' was almost impossible for asian people!! And awesome voice too!!

  • Sensationnel! Voix splendide, prononciation étonnante; quelle joie de l’entendre!

  • stunning performance... i couldnt expect before actually watching the video that his italian could be that good, almost perfect, way better for sure than others i listened before this...

    bravissimo!

  • Nice Italian!!

  • :S now i can't stop thinking that the director is fred flintstone :S and i always laugh at the end.

  • Meraviglioso!Sublime!Tra le migliori interpretazioni che io abbia mai ascoltato.

Complimenti.Kuenste grazie per aver caricato questo video.

  • Wow! That's all I can say - This is incredibly impressive, an amazing voice and such a difficult piece to perform and he carried it with such a flair. I hope to hear more of this gentlemen.

  • Let's talk about it... he's north korean, so there's no connection between italian and his language. So... he had to learn italian, and believe me(i'm italian) it's not easy... then he had to lear "dizione" that's the correctly way to pronounce words, and this is more difficult than learn italian. he's a very good singer, but i think we must say he's a great man who has a very very good mind and a very good memory.

  • @BassManto he is south korean. nobody from north korea would sing abroad except when it's about praising crazy man kim jung il. please remember in north korea there is communism. peope are dying in north korea by hunger and persecution. so those korean you see abroad are from south korea that has freedom.

  • incredibile questo tenore e che pronuncia O.O

  • He is impressionant! And his pronunciation is very good!

  • Almost perfect interpretation. He is very good.

  • Impressionante interpretazione, bravissimo

  • How happy is the director? It looks like he can't believe he managed the aria!

  • impressive pronunciation!

  • This is an exelent performance. Bravo.

  • sweet:)

  • the one with the stick looks like fred flinstone (:

  • @Biggeri22 the one with the stick???? LOL!!!! it is call a batton. very impressive voice, very dark in the lower notes as a baritone, and very lirical in the upper notes, very cute.... sorry but i would let him sing to me nightly...and his acting is very good. non sono Italino , ma parlo Italino bene... Excellent excellent italian diction.

    complimenti Bravo davvero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Biggeri22 oh you mean the conductor?

  • Respond to this video... HAHAHA YEH HE TOTALLY DOES JUST WATCHED IT AGAIN!! GOOD SPOT!!

  • @Biggeri22 he looks more like peter griffin, i think

  • @Biggeri22 The conductor :)

  • Sin lugar a dudas tiene una gran voz, esta es mi versión favorita.

    Gracias por subirla.

  • perfetto !!!!

  • Largo al factotum della citta.

Largo! La la la la la la la LA!

    Presto a bottega che l'alba e gia.

Presto! La la la la la la la LA!

Ah, che bel vivere, che bel piacere (che bel piacere)

per un barbiere di qualita! (di qualita!)

    Ah, bravo Figaro!

    Bravo, bravissimo!

Bravo! La la la la la la la LA!

  • This is so awesome :D

  • .....wow!!!!!

  • bravisimo!! ahime questte signore canta bellisimo!!

  • they messed up the audio at 3:07 and 3:29, the orchestra is never to drown out the singer, which they did, it's either the conductor's or the audio manager's fault, ruined those parts. I noticed a couple other times but not to the extreme the other two did.

  • >.< right when i think theres ONE thing we can do and they cant!

  • @PridelessChickz Trust me Asians obviously can do anything XD

  • @PridelessChickz Here's another one for you: The Scrabble champion of the world is a Thai who doesn't speak English! Now *that*'s really not fair ...

  • @PridelessChickz Why is it so important for one group to have a skill and for another not to? I hate to break it to you (and anyone who thinks along those lines) but being from a certain part of the world or of a particular ethnic group doesn't preclude a person from having any skill or talent another person has. That's why racism or racialist views are bullshit.

  • @meeter I was just kidding you know. Chinese people usually can't sing very well...usually. This guy sings so well, it's hard to believe it's really him, so my comment is really more of a compliment when you think about it. Depends on you though :}

  • @PridelessChickz - "chinese people usually can't sing very well...usually. " that is one of the most stupid comment, i'd seen in a while. Just how ignorant are u ??? -_- FYI he Korean not Chinese you clown.

  • @cskyo Well, 85% of the chinese people that I see aren't very good singers. And ok, he's Korean, whatever.

  • @PridelessChickz What are you talking about? What do you mean Chinese people can't sing very well? There are over 1.3 billion Chinese people and this guy is Korean, not Chinese. Where did you get that from? That's not a compliment because you're making a generalization based on ethnicity. What you're saying is stupid, plain and simple.

  • @meeter -.- dude, i said "85% of the chinese people I SEE". So, MOST of them dont sing very well, thats what i think. You may think something different, but that's you and this is me. This dude sings better than alot of people which shocked me cuz i didn't expect him to be this good...wait.. are we really fighting about a youtube video and a comment o.o? What ever though, you have the right to think what you want, and i believe so do i. Have a nice day, ect :)

  • @PridelessChickz are you related to Alexandra Wallace by any chance?

  • @jakjak4161 Ok dude. You apparently have a sad sense of humor. I love all types of people, i have friends of all races and love them all the same. I was just making a comment and a joke and you had to go and pick on me. If you think im racist or not, i honestly don't care anymore, you may think what you wish. Do you really think i enjoy logging into youtube and looking in my inbox and having to read stuff like this? Do you really think i like being called names? Hope not. Leave me alone. Bye :)

  • so talented.. complimente!

  • Complimenti!

  • I'm Italian too, and I also like her say that it has a fantastic voice and pronunciation. this video should have a lot more visits.

  • Was looking up for my husband this son Largo al factotum and OMG stumbled across this video. My jaw dropped this guy is AWESOME! BRAVO!!!BRAVO!!!!!!

  • Bravissimo!!! He has an amazing voice,..and he sings with such an ease!! It's a joy to listen and to watch him!!

  • I want hear more of this man! what is his name?

  • i miei complimenti,altre arie d'opera?!

  • great metal!

  • lol i chose this song cuz i knew it would b better than the other vids, cuz an asian man is singing

  • My god, my friend and I watched it; and I just had to stop after 3 seconds of listening to it so I could glance at my friend to make sure she heard the same thing.

    Totally insane.

  • fantastic!!

  • que voz y aparte guapo,me gusta,me gusta

  • I would have never thought an Asian guy would have been able to sing in Italian so well; my most sincere congratulations!

  • figalo

  • :O wow!

  • an Asian singing a Italian aria? a complete oxymoron in terms but KICK ASS voice though!

  • I'm italian too, and he has a really good prouninciation.

  • Make way to the factotum of the city, Quickly to the shop, for day is dawning, Quickly! Oh what life of beauty, Oh what pleasure, for a barber ... Of Quality! Ah bravo Figaro, bravo bravissimo, Lucky is he really, Bravo! Lucky is he really, oh yes he is... Readily at will, night or day, All around, always is he, Such a life of abundance, One nobler will you not find... Rasors and combs, Lancettes and scissors, At my command, All is at hand ... Then the resorts have you, of this trade ;-)
  • Fantastic voice. I wonder what he's doing now.

  • I like his voice, but he lost the comedy of this song. You must act this while you sing it to bring it to life. He fails in that regard and it becomes mechanical.

  • Amazing pronuntiation!! this guy is really awsome!! dunno if it's the recording, but probably he has a liltte area of improvement in vocal power... anyway, he's amazing!

  • Non mi piace.. però è molto carino.

  • Great voice!!!!

  • Incredible voice and performance! Bravo!

  • made in Italy

  • Very enjoyable music and beautifully sung .

  • Who gives a shit what race or nationality he is? He sings beautifully and performs admirably. And even if he didn't... anyone who has dedicated their life to opera deserves significant praise and respect in my most sincere opinion.

  • @L33tP1ckL amen!

  • Thumbs up if prince poppycock brought u here.

  • Majestuoso.

  • QUA LA PARRUCCA :)

  • TWO words only: BLOODY AWSOME!!!

  • I am Italian and I can afford to say it has an impressionant good pronunciation. (sorry for my english)!!!!

  • @Scorpionik92 Ti capisco lo stesso, amico!

  • can soem one tell me what is the highest note on the Largo al Factotum ?

  • @Istoris12 its G. its a piece for baritone. I am currently learning it for an italian aria set. :)

  • @englizeero um sorry for my another question G in which octave ? 4 ? dam... i can only reach f from 4 octave and hardly :S i just started singing from 3 years break,because i had puberty,im 16 :S

  • very very good pronunciation!

  • ottima voce

  • I love his voice!!! Fantastic.

  • Holy ignorance in this thread... WOW! I feel sorry for the small sheltered lives some of you live.

  • The coundutor is so GOREGEUS !!!!

  • Bravo

  • this is a concert setting not an opera on the stage, the performer does not need to wear the costume or make up as the person to fit to the 18 century setting. In fact, from my observation, in the old time, there are some people in mexico or Spain also have some Asian looking figures with black hair and dark brown eyes. Music is a universal language, it is time to open our mind for the fresh good taste and elegant appearance on the stage, not just to limit for the certain nationality appearance.

  • I heard this song in Tom and Jerry.

  • voce formidabile e pronuncia italiana quasi impeccabile! chissà come deve essere stato difficile per un asiatico pronunciare bene l' italiano... bravissimo!!

  • Wow! I´m really surprised, great pronunciation, good volme and clean technique. It's evident He's enjoying singing, made me enjoy listening.

  • da italiano vi dico : è bravissimo ottima pronuncia e una grandissima voce

  • wow great singer!

  • Bravo, bravisssssimo! Superb voice.

  • Great voice!

  • he has an incredible voice!

  • Excellent italian accent

  • he is incredibly gorgeous

    so handsome!!!!

  • An amazing job however I was not a fan of the high notes. I understand improvisation but I prefer the classics. Although he does have Peter Griffin as a conductor so who can blame him?

  • YANG can SANG.

    lols

  • Omg thumbs up if you think the Conductor looks like Peter Griffin

  • Whoa- phenomenal voice AND incredibly cute?! Sign me up 0.o

  • GREAT!!!!! especially the falsetto parts ;)

  • Excelente!!!

  • É um imenso prazer ouvir voz tão maravilhosa.

  • It is amazing that such a comparatively small body can produce such a mighty voice - I think Tae-Joong hasn't reached his full potential yet and is one to watch. || Eine sehr vielversprechende Stimme - ich freue mich darauf Tae-Joong in 5 Jahren zu hoeren. Es kann sein, dass er Hermann Prey dann aussticht!

  • family guy is conducting!

  • @xdsgrr Hahaha omg I just noticed that xD

  • family guy is conducting!

  • Shame on the conductor for allowing the orchestra to drown out this magnificent voice. Bravo, Tae-Joong Yang!

  • Man, that's good

  • Wow, amazing

  • wow! what a deep vibration has his voice. And he's quite good in italian, better than many europeans. Awesome! Thank you!

  • His voice is EXCELLENT!!!!!!! WOW!

  • Love LoVe LOVE his voice!!!

  • WOW!!!!!!!!! Sin palabras excelente e increible!!!!

  • His accent is fantastic, He must have spent quite some time working on it, I've been working on mine and, well it rather sucks...and I'm part italian

  • @Zachinabush92 Well, I'm "full" italian so let me say he's got a good accent but the words are quite messed up, it's actually barely understandable. Nice voice, though, and who's talking about race should know Italy is grateful to anyone who help to keep up our art and history, no matter where he/she comes from.

Goddamn, probably most asians love italian music more than we do.

  • @Wedhro: In my opinion his words are not bad at all, me 100% Italian too...just different opinion I suppose...but I love him

  • @Wedhro It'd be the same with an American singing Italian operas... it's passable for the majority of the masses. And, really, are most operas performed within Italy? ;)
