@MaleBosszz 700E is more than what I paid and this is from 6 months ago, I don't have this PC anymore, now I have an i7 Sandy Bridge with Gigabyte Z68 motherboard and 16GB RAM
Don't worry about the second PCIe, there is a minimal performance difference between 8x and 16x, its only at 4x that you start to see a significant decrease in performance. Also get rid of that old intel first generation sticker and put on the SB one! lol
Is the radeon 6870 a perfect match for the 2500k in terms of gaming? Obviously, there is not bottleneck although i feel the 2500k has a lot of graphical potential even when not overclocked.
@MrChoppersuey there's also benchmark graphs on forums to back it up. I think it was tomshardware where its posted, im going to be doing gtx 570 sli for sure now lol
Nope he will be fine with that psu, actually he could use a cougar a450
Graphicscard max. power consumption: about 150w
Cpu max. power consumption: 100w
Not even 300w at max. load
After watching a fairly big number of rigs on youtube, I noticed one thing: americans love lights and other blinking stuff and OVERSIZED powersupplies-true story bro
@nickm34456 I bought it off Newegg too, but the Canadian site. Newegg CA has super price inflation compared to Newegg com if you don't believe me watch my video
watch?v=PeuiSsVYh0s
And Canada has 13% tax, so I paid about $950 before tax
@hulilutteri All 6870s should have the same length so I guess it would, my reference Diamond 6870 still has about 3 cm of space left from the hard drive bay so I think it should fit just fine
Hey! Im about to update my pc, which ended up buying pretty much everything. Actually, yes.. everything. Just wanted to ask you that would you add or replace anything in a setup being this:
This is a build im possibly going to do! (at least the radeon 6870). but i dont know if i should go with i7 2600k, or i5 2500k. As well as gaming, i make montage and other videos. any help? what would fit more my needs? thx.
@Bobzwik If u got the money get the 2600K but for $100 less the 2500k is just as good, only difference is 0.1GHz slower, 2MB less L3 cache, and no hyperthreading but its worth the $100 less cost.
@Aaronage1 Oh hey, you can see my camera at 0:17, its a 12.1 Megapixel SONY Cybershot DSC-T900 filmed in 720p, and you're from England? I love England and Top Gear
@MrSinanabi 6850 cost same as 5850 in Canada but maybe prices are different for you but 5850 is about same performance as 6870 so its still a fast card
@MrSinanabi 6870 and 5850 both have same 40 nm 256 bit GDDR5 with DirectX 11 so the 5800 series still has the latest features, its not like 5800 vs 4800, where the 5800 is completely new, the 6800 is slightly better than the 5800
I think I'm gonna use this build when I'm gonna build a PC.

@JundaComputersGmbH That is awesome but isn't very high ram bad I mean crashed and stuff 6 gb or 8 is enough for me I don't see why you need 16?
MaleBosszz 4 months ago
@MaleBosszz Lol 700 euros is about $920 Cad dumbo
You can build this similar rig in uk for about £570 Which is about $890 (cad)
Ibankik 4 days ago
why dont u do crossfire x8 is still good, the difference in between x16 and x8 are miniscule 3-4fps at most. Look at the performance graphs

K1ngggg 6 months ago
I can just about promise it doesn't beat all the Aurora and Area-51 PC's considering they're customizable. But it is alot cheaper to build your own.

Nice pc, that reminds me i have to upgrade mine but i ll wait till new amd-intel(s) processors come out and see what they can handle.
BTW, once u have the money ur next upgrade should be SSDs not processor. Trust me it will worth it.

Hey! Im about to update my pc, which ended up buying pretty much everything. Actually, yes.. everything. Just wanted to ask you that would you add or replace anything in a setup being this:
Case: Cooler Master 690 II
Memory: G.Skill RipJaws-X DIMM kit 4GB CL9 ddr3 @ 1600mhz
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 6870
CPU: Core i5 2500K
Motherboard: MSI P67A-GD53
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
Power Supply: Super-Flower Amazon 80Plus 550W
Im thinking about overlocking the cpu to about 3.9GHz in turbo.
