  • Nice!

  • Your voice is beautiful!

With full respect, may i use this in a song?

  • Congratulations!!! The poem is so beautiful and you too !!!

  • Very beautiful! Like music :)

  • Stunning, you made that your own. Any more?

  • @budgep1 The words are so powerful and the way she recites them so tender.

  • Outstanding! A classic read with a modern touch. It helps that she is beautiful, too. Thanks.

  • sublime.

By the way, also the dog outside the car seems to appriciate. You can hear his comment in the last few seconds.. lol

  • a beautiful rendition.

  • Thanks. Do appreciate the kind words.

  • Man I want to marry this lady - there's nothing hotter than a woman who knows how to read shakespeare.

    Jonh, Merry England

  • I think she's taken, but we all know what you mean.

  • Excellent.

  • I have listened to all of yours (and blogged several) and this is by far my favorite. This project was an inspiration--thank you.

I actually used this channel in a display called "YouTube as a Lyceum", demonstrating how YouTube serves as a space for literature, entertainment, and politics (just like Mark Twain's lyceums).

  • You are too nice.

And glad it's been of help to you - that's all the idea has been about. Being of service.

  • I enjoyed your rendering of this sonnet. I love Shakespeare. Please would you watch my performance and tell me what you think. I would be grateful for comments

  • Very well performed! Beautiful!

  • It is, isn't it? Thanks.

  • but why does she say "fiks id" instead of "fikst". The word is Fixed, pronounced fikst.

  • Um, I guess Fiona Shaw did it wrong then. Moron.

  • Its in iambic pentameter you silly ass. Each line is 10 syllables.

  • @CharlieCheese62864 Anybody can count. And since it's numbers that matter to you, you have missed the point.

  • And when the word has an accent on top, which fixéd has in this poem, the emphasis is placed in that sound - like CharlieCheese62864 noted - for iambic pentameter.

    :)

  • Thanks. And, of course.

  • this is pointless, we know how to read, but u need 2 analys it

  • I'm not sure you do know how to read. But beyond that, the videos you've posted are what's actually pointless.

A dog digging a hole on the beach?

  • Incredible!

  • No, Cilla owns this sonnet!

    MUAH!

  • Nobody owns Shakespeare,Sorry !.

  • Yes, Dustman, he wrote that just for me. If this be error and upon me proved, well....you know!

  • wow Heather - you own this sonnet

  • What a poem. Heather, your reading is excellent - virtually impeccable timing, facial expressions, etc.

Could you please read Sonnet 129? Thank you.

    Life is good.

  • Wow, I cannot applaud you enough!! Bravo!!!

  • Really awesome!!!

  • wow! I`ve just signed up. x

  • you brought a fierce fire unto my mind, you, mysterious beauty

  • awesome!...well read

  • Very pretty woman. Have a few babies if you don't already!

  • We're tryin'

  • Yes, Shakespeare would write you a few sonnets if you did not leave an image of that beautiful face.

  • that was gorgeous, exotic and beautiful...nicely read.

  • that's hot

  • I really appreciate the effort to put Shakespeare, or any poetry, on YouTube, especially in this accessible, but serious, way. This particular video reading is excellent, and many of the other of your postings work nicely as well. The readings are natural sounding. Keep it up.
