@pappygjb The "song" at the beginning is just a stock sound effect of an orchestra warming up used in a lot of cartoons where an orchestra is featured. Not sure about the other.

Krazy Kat and Ignatz! Wow. And ironically, this tiny piece buried in a Garfield special is probably the only time they've ever been animated in something resembling Herriman's actual drawing style.
