Interesting jingle comment, thanks for that....... I never thought about this before and of course you`re right about two jingle companies being on-air at TFM. I listened to Metro FM and heard JAM jingles but with you listening to TFM at that time, it would have been JAM and TM on-the-air - don`t think that would happen nowadays !
That "North East Night Shift ...Weather!" jingle was so weird when I heard it on TFM, 'cos they were using a TM Century KIIS package that sounded quite different. By contrast, this weather jingle sounded quite heavy and out of place, but not on Metro of course where they had a more traditional JAM package on air. Metro and TFM networked the nightshift after both stations' phone-in shows had finished. I don't think anyone really minded that sort of networking back then!
