@Sturmmann Well maybe you are right but history knows who was running towards Austrian border in May 1945. Tito's partisans were only resistance movement in occupied Europe with organized military units and they fought against Nazis from 1941 until may 1945. Too bad that Yugoslavian army didnt have part of Berlin to occupy because Yugoslavian army had right to be there. If France had their part of Berlin despite fact that they newer had active military units to fight Nazis in occupied France

The Yugoslav partisans were surging around sept 1944, rising to a force of 800,000 by Jan '45 as the Axis troops were pulled out of Greece in Sept '44. Axis were threatened by USSR forces who recently at that time took Belgrade, they didnt want to be cut off, hence they started a mass pull out, followed by their Cetnik and Ustasa counterparts. And altough the Ustasa stuck to their colors, most of the Cetniks defected to the Serb dominated partisans (explaining the Jan'45 figure)

The real thing was written in 1943. Anna Marly and Emmanuel d'Astier de la Vigerie ("La Complainte du Partisan").
