I have a Jack Shiht, too! Great mix!!!

My sister owns some sort of Terrier mix that we believe is part Shih Tzu. She is adorable but is ALWAYS chewing on things including pillows, shoes, clothes etc. Do you know of a way to train her?

@ugafootball11 If you catch her just give a firm "NO!" and stomp your feet if you have to (much like you would if you were potty training). Immediately after you do that give her something she CAN chew on, like a toy, and reward her with praise or play whenever she does play with her toys instead of chewing on the furniture

I have a Jack Shih Tzu Terrier puppy. I love how she has the madness of a JAck Russel but her Shih Tzu side will happily cuddle up with you and sleep on your lap when watching TV. A lovely dog :)
