I'm trying to get a more "zen" approach on life. All I have is right now, and I try to find pleasure in what I'm doing right now. I'm an atheist, but even before I was an atheist, I recognized that all I have is now, nothing lasts forever, and promises and plans are actually worthless and useless. However, I've been damaged from my life, and overcoming that damage is making it difficult to reach the true "zen" I eventually hope to achieve.
@LeksServices Well, the good news is that Zen is completely compatible with being an atheist. In fact, I'd say it's where any atheist who is fully aware of life's possibilities will end up :-)
