  • After creating a time machine, instead of controlling the world, becoming rich or dominace other people, he went forward to the future in order to find answers for the killing of his lover, and to answer why the time can't be changed, a real philosophical question.

  • excuse me for the paradox... but if there were to be built such a time machine ever... I would only use it to go on the set of the movie... read the formulas written by Alexander and see if they are really true...

  • please what is the name of this beautiful song???????????'

  • @ussoptimus75 Learn to read.

  • @MrNintenjoe thanks idiot................

  • @ussoptimus75 How am I the idiot if you're the one that can't read what was clearly shown to you?

  • @MrNintenjoeWTF IS YOUR PROBLEM IF YOUR A GENIUS WHO CARE JUST FORGET IT MORON..........................

  • thumbs up if your watching this in 80201 with the eloi :)

  • @julessoetersbest no. youre stupid

  • K+P <3

  • I hate how people always hate remakes because they're slightly different than the original.

  • I thumbed up both topcomments to keep their ammount of thumb ups even, although they're both good.

  • The clock is running. Make the most of today. Time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

  • @Sonofnelak22020 interesting philosophy

  • Nobody knows their future!!! And you can't change the past!! past is past!

  • @BlackRoseGems ya me too

  • german guy :-)

  • Klaus Badelt is Kick-Ass! Definitely up there with Howard Shore and John Williams! His music transcends time and space!

  • @sjoseph0128 and hans zimmer :P

  • magicoooooo¡¡¡¡

  • when you think that maybe Alexander could've existed... traveling through time right now... until 2030... who knows... only time will tell...

  • wonderful..thx for uploading.

  • A much underated movie, I fell in love with this soundtrack in 2003, it's a very beautiful score, also much overlooked in the world of movie soundtracks. HG Wells was a genius.

  • I know this movie got a bad wrap by reviewers, I really don't know why yeah had some week acting in some parts but overall it was a really good movie. The music was very good as was the movie. Authors like Jules Verne and H.G. Wells were way ahead of their time.

  • does anybody know if professor Alexander Hartdegen really existed ? :-?

  • I love this movie :)

  • This song is magic!

  • change the past... change the future.... change yourself listening this song...

  • The most strong and good part for me start's from 0:43 - 0:55. Just some times, the human mind just want's the same part from some music to continue ages and ages and never to stop.

  • This song makes me think and wonder about all the scientists throughout our history who have ever influenced the methods of science into our world. Scientists like Albert Einstein, Newton, K Galileo, Darwin, Socrates, Antoine Lavoisier, Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan, Richard Feynman, Richard Dawkins, Neil Tyson Degrasse.

  • This music is magic !

  • Underated Movie, totally underated. One of my favorit movies of all times.

  • I liked this theme better when Jerry Goldsmith wrote it for The Edge.

  • this is a nice song to me! but make me fell very old

  • Wunderschönes Lied, der Soundtrack insgesamt sehr gut. Das ist meiner Meinung nach schon oskarwürdig hier.

  • This is my all time favorite movie soundtrack, and one of my top favorite movies

  • Tudono filme e de outro mundo

  • Underated. Film was FANTASTIC. I love it <3.

  • Under rated film and score.

  • some day people will travel also in time and this must not be seen as a negative thing because a person love the people and the things you see first are your life who doesn't desire to become children or young boy again and live some good experiences again?

  • @saluteforever dont be stupid, if time travel did exist. We'd all be dead.

  • @Tarateesh why people believe only in what they see? Do you believe in dreams?

  • @saluteforever ofcourse i believe in dreams. But time travel will never happen.

  • @saluteforever its a curse... to see all your beloved die and u cant do anything, just sit and watch....

  • @bojanzeusbt do you believe in god and religion?

  • @BlackRoseGems HA! Yeah

  • Free will, it's what got us booted from Eden, god gave us knowledge, drive and understanding, when we obtain a massive amount we think we know everything, better than god, or just decide he doesn't exist and use the knowledge to do things without thinking it through. The scientists who created the first atomic bomb had no idea what they had done till it went off, they regretted it from then on. We learn enough to be dangerous to our own existence, the energy could be used to help one another!

  • Why are there so many religious nuts posting on this video, one irrelevant to the topic?

  • @1RadicalOne hmmm i kno man ... all thoise religíous extremists dont realise that they r actually the cause of some of the trouble human kind has today

  • More than just "some", but that is another issue for another place.

  • @MrRieser so true

  • I love this movie GO M.G. WELLS!!

  • h.g. wells sry

  • I really love this movie, but I don't think that in 802.701 human being is gonna be like in stone age. That's impossible!!! And, furthermore, I think the end of our days will arrive before that year...

  • @JohnNachoRincon

No, generation comes and went, but the earth forever abith.

  • The Word of the Lord abides forever not Earth. Revelation says the earth will be destroyed and a new earth will be made.

  • @AshJesusFollower1 Well that does happen in the movie.

  • This movie actually made me think about something. We try to concieve the miracles of nature with our little human mind, and i understood that maths are for that. And what we cant concieve calculations can. So you never know what math will reveal to you. Dont ask me why i got this thought after i watched the movie, its just happened. :D

  • Christianity and any other religion: one big sect.

  • This movie is so great it actually shows you that this world will go on no matter what happens. 2012 COULD destroy us all, but we will prevail even if it takes nearly a million years!

  • In this movie- the world suffered its fate in 2037 and not 2012. I always did think the situation of humans turning into Eloi and Morlocks conflicts with the Christian belief that the world will end when remaining humans will perish from the big battle between good and evil.

  • I. Adore. This. Movie. <3

  • ok thx for pointing that but tat is what it is called in swedish "200-års mannen";)

  • If I had a time machine... I'd travel. all the way back first, than all the way forwards, because I have a feeling I'd rather live in the future ^.^

  • yeah mee to, it would be so cool to see how the wolrd was created all the way back to before the first life were made up, and then see what there is gonna happend in the future:)

  • Going forward in time would be the only way to know if it is only a legend that the world will crumble in 2012 or not. I always thought that if someone traveled to whenever the world actually did end- they would be taking a risk of going down with everything. But that is the only way to know if humans will die out before Earth suffers its destruction or if it will happen in the middle of everyone living their lives. Perhaps they could find out if it is true that the sun will burn up the world.

  • I always thought it would be rather scary to see prehistoric life when it was real and not just fossil remains in museums. But going way back could help prove whether stories in the Bible such as Adam and Eve being the first humans on Earth, Noah's ark carrying all living life, Moses seeing God, David killing Goliath, Samson being the strongest mortal alive, Daniel being saved by angels from getting eaten by the lions, and Jesus resurrecting were true or not. Time travel is the only way to know.

  • C'mon you can be sure if you go back in time you won't really see some dude in a boat with 2 of every animal XD

  • There are conflicts in that story as some people do think Noah even had dinosaurs on the ark. It has been proven that would not have been possible because science shows they all died out millions of years before humans first existed. I just think about how stories of the Bible conflict with scientific discoveries proving evolution. Going back in time is the only way to see if humans started with Adam and Eve or if they just evolved from monkeys. Only God can tell the truth to how it happened.

  • Yeah, but no one really believes in Adam and Eve. I mean, I'm italian and I went to church and they never say it's actually REAL.

  • People do say it is likely the theory of evolution proves the story of Adam and Eve is only a legend. I always thought that if they did exist- it would have had to have been after prehistoric life was all gone as they were regular people. I do not think the Bible is wrong at all- I just think it was written by people who were unaware of the scientific discoveries that were made centuries later. I think the stories are actually true and just were told differently than they actually happened.

  • Your just contradicted yourself. If you believe that the Bible is true then how can you think that the stories were told differently then how they really happened?

From your ealier posts I assume you believe in God so then how can you doubt the Bible and even entertain the thought that we come from monkeys, which is in essence you calling God a liar in how He created us?

Also, evolution is only a theory. It is far from being proven. Some aspects of the theory may be proven but that in ...

  • I most definitely believe in God- I fear for any atheists who talk trash about him and try to convince everyone he is not real. I do not believe humans evolved from monkeys- I just think the origin of mankind can only be explained by God himself as humans can only guess. What I meant by the Bible telling things differently than they are is the fact it talks about the world as if it is only 6,000 years old and speaks as if man was first put on Earth after God created it. I will expalin myself....

  • ...no way proves that evolution is true and the Bible is false.

I am not trying to rant or bash you. I am just trying to make you thing about what you really believe. You can't believe in all-powerful in everything God and yet call Him a liar and believe in something that God says is false and believe the Bible is false. God can protect the Bible and make sure that it is passed down accurately.

Whats it going to be? You have to believe 100% one way or the other. You can't pick and choose.

  • I never thought anything told by God was false. Apparently people who existed back when the Bible was written were unaware of prehistoric life. They probably assumed that regular humans were around right from the start and the animals were the exact ones that exist now. I know people back then thought the world was flat. God is never wrong and knows everything over a human. Only he can properly explain the truth undoing the confusion between Adam & Eve being the first humans and prehistoric men.

  • @JLC31383 God can undo the confusion. However, God did tell us that Adam and Eve were the first humans so thinking otherwise would call God a lier. Prehistoric men, the so called missing link, are just apes or monkeys.

Again, not to say that you are wrong and I'm right. I'm just saying that you have to look through the lens of the Bible before looking at everything else.

  • God is never a liar- but the Bible was written by people who were recording the stories of God as well as those who followed him. They were unaware of prehistoric life because that was prior to when prehistoric remains were discovered- so the Bible ended up being written as if the world is only a few thousand years old and began with humans. It is just told from perspectives prior to the scientific findings. People did think the world was flat back in those days as we now know it is not at all.

  • Your Church must not be a God-fearing Church or they expect you to know they are real already. Adam and Eve is not a made-up story; it is real.

  • I do believe Adam and Eve were real. I wanted to mention that the Bible does not tell of prehistoric life. It has been proven that it existed millions of years before the first race of humans were around from discovered fossils. It also has been proven that the world is billions of years old as well from modern science. Again- the Bible was written by people who were unaware of those things because they had not yet been discovered. But I do believe Jesus was a real person and God does exist.

  • @JLC31383 Timelines confuse me as well, however, we have to go to the Bible for final confirmation. Science and the Bible are not enemies.

Here's a thought; God created Adam and Eve as adults, what if the Earth was created as an "adult". So if we carbon date it, it seems older than it really is.

Also, dinosaur wise, its hard to fit that in. Maybe humans and dinos lived side be side? It could happen, there is no evidence to deny it.

  • @AshJesusFollower1

You don't need evidence, evidence will blind you, only faith will show you the way to the truth.

  • That's true. i don't need evidence. However, evidence and facts can reveal more details into the history of the Bible though you don't need it to live for Jesus.

  • Thank God I was never taught to be afraid of him! :D

I am sorry if our church is god fearing.

  • I have not been to my church nor actually read my Bible in several years. But I still believe in him deeply and keep in mind he judges us all for our wrong doings. I strongly fear for people who deny his existence and say disrespectful things about him and Jesus as we believe such people are automatically sent to the bad place. I always thought people and the world could not have just appeared out of nowhere- everything had to be made by an ultimate being. He has been heard and seen by Moses.

  • @JLC31383 I am glad that you believe in Jesus. You might want to join a good church and (i say this to myself as well) read your Bible more often.

I do want to point out that we are automatically destined for hell the moment we are born. All have sinned and only the salvation of Jesus can save us.

  • @JLC31383 Well, the funny thing is, Earth did not just come out of nowhere. I fear for YOU. I don't waste a second of my valuable time on that religion crap.

  • @AQWorldsTheFabled I wrote that a long time ago and had not really thought about this in months. When I had written about that- it was back when I had nothing to keep up with. But now I am busy all the time and am lucky if I do not have something to worry about taking care of. I have an atheist for a brother who tells me all the time that God is only a fairy tale- but I want to think he is wrong and feel like the only way a thing can be done to prove it is to go back in time when it all started.

  • I don't mean fear God as in being scared. I mean a high respect for Him. A God-fearing church is a good thing.

  • is in E this song....

  • First I saw this movie was a long time ago but I saw it on the tv and I think I liked it(I don´t remeber) however the part I remebered was when the moon fell down on the earth( that part really freaked me out)=D, but now I have the movie home in my house and I can watch it whenever I want to. Now another I really wanna watch again is Artifical intelligence I.O I thougth it was a very good movie, I could also watch the 200 centery man with robbin williams and sam neil, love tat one

  • @Miamicop100 Artificial Intelligence was such a good movie and so was bicentennial man! They both made me cry.

  • yeah it also happend to me to, but I don´t remember artifical inteligens, I think it was about a boy that was made by a company and that he was adopted by a family, then later on he got a robotic bear and his mother died(so sad),

  • then he lived on into the future and he met a guy and he and the bear was brougth to a boxing arena at the junkyard and the bear had to figth something, then they came more into the future, where there wasn´t any humans and instead there were sort of alian lokking creaters that took away in an flying box(somewhere in the end of the movie)

  • absolutely beautiful and full of style

  • If I had a Time Machine or the DeLorean and then I would tell myself to go and teach and make a difference in the world, love this soundtrack there are mnay emotions in it.

  • i wished i had a time machine i would travel back in time . . . and tell my younger self to never eat cheese burgers

  • simply BOOMbastic..to the mind..

  • I feel exactly the same.

  • Beautiful man, just beautiful!

  • The music raises this film to staggering new hights....

  • szuper!! Nagyon jó film!+jó zene!!

  • Much better than Curse of the Black Pearl...THIS is what Badelt should have become famous for.

  • you´re god damn right

  • Yeah... he should have become famous for this soundtrack and even more because this was one of his first motion picture soundtracks

  • @JoeSnyderwalk I say both are great. But this one has a different feel... for obvious reasons... I find this one more soothing, while I find pirates to be more... hm... how should I put it... invigorating perhaps?
