I was not 20 feet away from this camera during the countdown... I remember watching this strange guy in a huge black trench coat, seemingly whacked out of his mind, dancing like I've never seen anyone dance before (not a compliment). I spent the last few hours of 2007 laughing hysterically.
New Years eve 08-09 at Disneyland was a blast. several differnt party area's. I was dancing the ngiht away near small world ride. first time ever me and my family celebreated a new years eve at a any amusement or theme park. This is a brand new Traidition for us Happy New Year
thanks for posting this footage ,is nice to see disneyland again.i was born and raised in california and i loved going every year with my husband and kids.i moved to dallas tx and trust me is boring over here you learn to appreciate all things california has for example universal studios the beach and ,especially disneyland everyone that lives in california have fun for me.
i was in the cheer lol and i was 1 first in park 2008 woot but they do cheer for any thing i went on the shrek 4 ride and the waas cheering for a floging
Great video! I was at both parks, CA adventures for the prep and dancing. Then i went to disneyland for the last hr of 07. I found it funny that the sign out side the park said "tix for Disneyland sold out. Tix for CA Adventures still available." since many people were there w/ kids the places were packed in the day n at night the parks seemed so empty. It was great! Either way, good times. Although more fireworks would have rocked!
Yeah, the crowd during the day was insane and the wait for the rides were ridiculously insane but I guess we expected that coming in since it was new years eve. I thought CA Adv. was quite empty when we got there at around 10:30pm, but the dance floor was good times, lots of girls dancing and getting their groove on. Happy New Year...
Hahahaha. Definately! I think i was there around tenish. There was so much dancing and music. CA Adv seemed a lil more upbeat than Disneyland for a good part of the night.
we still got friends into disneyland bc we bought the entry tickets at the hotel. during the day we kinda chilled outside the park, i was so glad at night when the crowd was gone! we made up lost time on rides! hahaha.
There was unfortunately strong winds last Monday night so all fireworks scheduled for New Years Eve was cancelled at both Disneyland and California Adventure. :(
Cool Video! still i can't believe that Disneyland didn't have New Year eve firework due to HIGH WIND!why is the firework at DCA so short last year they did it for 7 minutes firework show :(
Awesome. That celebration started at 12:00 AM at Disney's California Adventure, in New York City, it was 3:00 AM. That was three hours after the ball drop in Times Square.
GUITARJCR - You got the wrong guy fool. I was wearing a Red long sleeve shirt that night.

I don't know why, but I just find the "Congratulations: You're the first guests of 2008" and the immediate cheer after that funny. hah...
