I watched the DVD and read the book in May. I cried BUCKETS for days and nights because I kept watching the youtube clips and the Animal Planet videos. I couldn't get enough! Although I've calmed down a bit now, I still cry my eyes out. Had Christian lived, he would be 40 years old now. Oh, here I go again!

I adore Christian, he should have not gone back into the wild he was too much of a softie and loving, I think its totaly tragic, when he saw then I bet he thought they were coming to collect him, its just too sad. I dont think they did him any favours at all, Christian was a very very special lion, he would have had a very short sad miserable life in the wild

I die EVERY time I see this. It's a miracle that a lion could be THIS wonderful with a human being. Christian was THEEE most special lion to ever walk the earth. Watch the DVD of his story and read the book. It's fabulous. I bought both! This is the most beautiful story I have ever read or watched. EVER.
