  • I can't be hostile towards something I don't believe exist. XD

  • "Why hostile towards God"?

    Evil will never like good.

"12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

    Ephesians 6:12

  • no, not really.

  • @BeniXBass Good to hear...

  • Please understand that what you are arguing and what I am saying are two different conversations. It is called begging the question when you put the wrong words in my mouth. So let's try one more time. I said I do not go out and seek any Zeus followers as my channel is public it is not a hunter that knocks on the door or leaves a message in a comment box. It is an educational search engine for people who are seeking Christian answers and world views. So want to try again,,,, again:-)

  • No I am not hostile towards God, I am hostile towards some people's idea of God.

furthermore, I disagree with you that the world is not a better place now, then it used to be in the past. we improved our standards of living, but also our morality. and the funny thing is, we did so by pushing away laws created by men in a book written over 3000 years ago. Bible is flawed, it was written by men. The universe itself is where we should look for God because we are letters in his greatest book :-)

  • @woytaq In what way is the world a more moral place today then it was 50 years ago. Let's start with the basics. Family, Work, faith, and politics.

  • @GodIsReal101 50 years ago you say... what were women rights back then? how many women were in any positions of power 50 years ago? what about people of different races? segregation of black people, their civil rights? Street violence reduced, poverty being slowly reduced as well. Social awareness of people increased as well as generosity. The world had changed for the better. sure, there are crimes still, but those crimes are brought before the eyes of everyone to see.

  • @woytaq Well if you Google it you will find. Violent crime is up, Abortions are up, Divorce is up, Suicide is up, Political dishonesty and scandals are up, Positive views of America is down, and Church attendance is down. This is a simple 1+1 equation. The points you made about women and race have been moved forward in history by Christian men and women. So I agree with you that we need to stay that course as the bible has declared. In America the values have been guided by God in the past

  • @GodIsReal101 I so I did some google search for 'crime statistics over time', first link. Does look kinda downhill to me. especially this first picture. As for abortion and divorces... I suppose some people aren't educated enough to make responsible decisions. Not a fan of those myself, but what can you do.

and about that God-inspired women rights thingy... can't be sure, but didn't st. Paul said something about women being beneath men, that they should be quiet and stuff... Just saying...

  • Some Christians are hostile towards Harry Potter. Does that entail that they believe he exists? No, it only means that they are hostile towards the idea of Harry Potter. If I were to try to impose another religion on you (let's say I tried to constitute Zeus as the almighty creator), you might be hostile towards that idea. It does not mean that you believe in Zeus.

Similarly, I am hostile towards the idea of [your] god.

  • @2nDoppelganger I may not like the idea of Harry Potter but I don't go on websites or create billboards that are anti Harry Potter because that goes more than disagree that goes to cause. The purpose behind atheism is the number one challenge I believe an atheist has. Motive is the first thing a cop looks at in a crime scene. Why do you think that is?

  • @GodIsReal101 Yes, but SOME Christians DO create websites against Harry Potter and even have spiritual retreats in order to reform children of it's "evils". Do you think those people believe in Harry Potter?

  • @2nDoppelganger Now your arguing for the minority not the majority. Which is not a good logic to debate on. Let's stay away from arguing on authority as it is not logical in debate. I could say do SOME atheist or all atheist attack religon? It is a self defeating comment. Try again

  • @GodIsReal101 I am not generalizing all Christians whenever I use this example. I am merely stating that a person can be hostile towards an "idea" of something without actually believing that idea exists in reality.

  • @2nDoppelganger But your going down a slippery slope of reality (what is reality, truth, reason, and logic) Where does this reality come from. In our mind? That is my point you can't be just void of belief it is a strong negative. Do you understand what I am implying?

  • @GodIsReal101 A person who is hostile towards the idea of Harry Potter does not believe he is actually in existence. Similarly, an atheist who is hostile towards the idea of god does not believe he is actually in existence.

I don't know how to make it any clearer. "You can't be just void of belief. It is a strong negative."

You are void of belief in things. You are void of belief in 11 planets in our solar system, for example, you realize there are only 8.

  • Totally serious questions

Would you say you are hostile toward Zeus?

Would you say you are hostile toward the flying spagetti monster?

Would you say you are hostile toward Darth Vader?

    And

Would you say you are hostile toward the body theatens the scientologists say are in your body?

These are honest questions. Simple yes, no answers would be informative. Thanks.

  • @Danmill23 I am not hostile towards Zeus I believe he is a false God thus the religion died and I leave it alone at that. I don't seek out the few remaining Zeus followers. What about you?

    Thanks

  • @GodIsReal101 That was a selective answer wasn't it? You did not answer all the questions. May I ask why?

Clearly you do try to change the opinons and beliefs of people and you seek them out. Does this channel exclude any remaining Zeus followers? I don't believe you when you say you are not hostile toward Zeus followers. The way you painted the definition seemed very ... inclusive.

Do you still want me to answer your question, remembering you still have not answerd all of mine?
