I agree. But adding the house of gaunt chapter would have made the movie I think. It's a very important chapter and wouldn't add much length to the movie. Good review though.

There was no constructive critisism, all you were doing was complimenting the characters.

And you lost my support when you said Tom Felton looked like a 40 year old. It was uneeded, and didn't have anything to do with the movie. You'll also find that in most cases, he doesn't.

And why are you acting out some of the scenes? Obviously if people are watching the review, they would've seen the movie. If you wanted to do that, take clips from the movie.

There was action at the end of the book 6, so I think people that have and haven't read the book probably expected a lot more than was given. Everyone that likes this movie always talks about the acting, characters, and CG, but they never talk about the plot. This movie was amazing to look at, but when taken apart things didn't make sense and there really wasn't a point to this movie. Why would Draco spend a whole year fixing a cabinet for the death eaters if they don't fight at the end?

Honestly, I felt the book didn't really translate well to film - my family hadn't read the books, and had a hard time understanding the plot. I felt it to be vague, as well, and I've read all the books. I also wish David Yates wouldn't direct his Potter films at such a frenetic pace - everything seemed to happen too quickly, and sometimes the actors seemed stilted. Though talented, I think it was more of an issue with how they were directed. Enjoyed this movie, but it had some issues. :-)

it wasnt dumbledore replacing tonks at the train station but luna replacing tonks on the train saing harry. but over all it was a good adaptation and a good review. cheers!
