I Shouldn't Tell You This ... But ...

You Did it Wrong ... Instruments and Effects should not Take up one of your Midi Channels ... you Only Get 15 channels with FL Rewired to Reason ...

So What you Do is set up a Template in Reason with 15 Combinators ...

Now u can put any thing u want in the combinators and it only takes up one midi channel for your Instruments and effect's inside the combinator ! .

Nice tutorial! I love Reason to bits but sometimes the sounds it produces are so thin. FL's effects are great to give Reason a richer, warmer sound

now here is my problem, as soon as I select the client (reason) and click on 'show panel', I get the message "engine not responding. please check your re-wired host'.. so the problem is obviously FL, but does anybody got an idea what exactly the problem could be? would be happy about any answer! Both progams are running through the same audio driver. And everytime I try to press the button " Show panel" in Fl, the CPU load display is red and says 99!!! Could that be the problem? How to fix?

the problem could be with the Asio Driver. When Installing Asio4all there is an installation options on which components of the driver you want to install. Choose the rewueschel (its named something like that) and that will allow you to use rewire with reason

go to my computer, rightclick on your C:\ drive and click format. Once this is complete go back into fruityloops and they will be a different color, if it dosn't work, or it comes out in the wrong color try formatting other drives listed in my computer.

you got to go to the list of racks from reason and look at its number then select that number on the midi out map...it should play

it is possible to drop effect on de midi out instruments thru fl...this is wat u have 2 do. as u start ur process 4 adding da rewired 2 ur project instead of adding a midi out as u know...ur midi out thingy ur gonna add a fruity dashboard instead. then in da fruity dash board ur gonna go 2 da preset dats called midi out, change da channel at da top left corner of the dashboard like you'd normally do 2 ur regular midi n from there u can send dat midi channel in2 ur mixer

When I rewire it , Reason comes up no problem ... Then I do the whole port 0 routine , etc , ... when I hit my keys though , I get no sound .. If u havent figured it out yet, there might be a possibility that u havent set it up right....If u open a new song u shoud make sure the mixer is first under the interface.

That might solve all ur problems first since the mixer is what everything plays through...if u got other songs produced, add the mixer (preferrably first) then flip the rack around (tab button) and manually check the connection.

Heya, thanks for your comment, 1 thing i forgot to mention is that if you dont get a midi in use error when you load reason - you will have to disable your keyboard in the midi options.
