Everyday I wake up with immense pain all over by body , with many illness I cannot count, Medications never help, Sleep , what may I ask is sleep, I often wish only love for so many , And out of loving others I feel I can heal my pain, I asked God why do I know of so many children who I loved die before me, It is in suffering that I know true love of our lord Jesus, In pain I love and understand others suffering, My days , Awe My days I pray for the suffering and not myself, Love is beautiful,
This is such a beautiful gift, thank you for this wonderful thoughtful share. Death is truly a transition, release back to our true home, from this temporary journey of experiences, learning. Upon letting go, no more pain, spirit is free again, knowing once more the true unconditional love often forgotten in this physical life. ALL are welcomed home, some may still carry burdens of regrets, darkness that may take much self forgiving but LOVE will prevail and does. God is LOVE, God is home.
silentfades: my pain is under better control just this past week due to stronger meds I have recently been given. But this high dose morphine makes me dopey--but it's a trade I am happy to make. Cancer has spread to liver and lungs, but have hospice care at home, where I hope to pass. Relatives visit often, and my old business partners of many years are paying for all my drugs and medical bills. Wow. I am also on medicaid. I am truly blessed. Love to you all.
@bob27f Robert -I have been thinking of you - as your doing this process you are not alone - if you need to or want to talk let me know if I can do anything. Though the cancer has spread it is not you - know that.
I truly hope it will be a beautiful experience for you, pain is something that ends, maybe next time you suffer it, think about that moment, when you will be able to laugh about it. until it comes, you'll be in my thoughts.

@aliciaanne I hope you know love & peace befor reaching heaven. I am sending you uncondditional love right now!! My husband killed him self last year and I know what it is to need that love & peace because I do not have it, but have had it for the years we were together.cindikrause45@yahoo.com
For Parapon3ra: I mean it when I say, all the best. And this comes from an "uncivilized" part of the world that, according to you, does not matter very much. We can never exclusively be measured by our "contributions alone" - measured by what we've done. You also need to acknowledge who we are (as human beings) and move away from the naive mechanical metaphors. We are not just biological - we are also beautiful, brilliant - this sets us apart from our other "less evolved" biological cousins...
Parapon3ra - You who write from the so-called "civilized" world: your comments are really savage, sad and bereft of heart -but, don't worry too much. When you die - and you will die (regardless of how you delay or deny) - when you die, I hope your Heart will open up the Doors you are failing to do open right now... Even if death is just "the end", I hope you will find peace (and a graciousness) in that end which your assaulting words seem to lack now.
Some of us - and I take it most who are able to logon to Youtube, have it good - and certainly much, much, much better than many others in the world... Frankierays, thank you for your comment. We all need that reminder more often than not.
What a bunch of deathist blabber! FUCK deathism! We must fight aging and the weakness of the flesh with technology. Look up transhumanism, SENS, nanotechnology, and cryonics -- that is the future, not this Stockholm Syndrome acceptance nonsense.
Oh, and before you comment or thumb down, do realize that our whole civilization is the result of rebellion against the 'natural order', not blind acceptance of it. Everything we have and are is the result of not accepting 'natural' limits.
Yeah right. For the very, very few who could possibly afford such technology in the future. Don't make such generalizations... There's no such thing as "our whole civilization" - there are civilizations (it would be good to use the plural) and acknowlege other opions and options - even the option to die naturally.
Today, even relatively poor people often have access to luxuries and technologies like cell phones, TV sets, and cars that not even the most powerful kings had in the old days. They generally live longer, too. As technology advances it becomes not only better, but also affordable to more and more people. Just look at the price of genome sequencing; from $3 BILLION (Human Genome Project, 1990's-2003) to less than $1,000 today, and practically nothing tomorrow.
By 'our civilization' I (obviously) meant the part of it that's actually (somewhat) civilized and has contributed to scientific and technological progress. That's the only civilization that really matters.
parapon3ra : You must be very, very afraid to die. But no matter how long you avoid it, it will happen. Ignoring it, fighting it, will not make it go away. Find out what it is about. Life here is temporary and the best is yet to come.
It's not fear that drives me, but simple common sense. Aging and disease are bad because they make life miserable, and death is bad because it destroys it altogether. Can't have no fun when you're dead, can you? Having fun = good, ergo, death = bad. Science is powerful, and could abolish aging and most diseases within a few decades if we give it the (financial) support it deserves. Don't kid yourself, death really is the end. We're just biological machines in need of an upgrade.
parapon3ra : You just haven't been listening to the good doctor here. The doc studied death and dying and became convinced that life continues after death. All your denial is not going to change that. You have failed to recognize the spiritual (the real, it lasts forever) side of life. Your ''common sense'' is quite near-sighted.
I send my love and compassion to all of you now suffering pain.
