I don't get why everybody likes EA MMA so much. It definitely had better graphics, but it was so unrealistic and awkward. UFCs ground game may not be that good, but EA's was even worse. This game looks a lot better.
@xXCrusher509Xx EA MMA wasn't that bad....The movements of of the fighters were more fluid than THQ and graphics actually looked better than THQ and the faces actually look real....but one thing they were certainly missing ,which THQ has done very well is mechanics. THQ has excellent mechanics great transitions, ability to take the fight anywhere...basically more variety...which EA MMA lacks.
THQ = Best Action Fighting sports games! p.s. hope they make a boxing game (controller played...fuck the racist xbox kinect, the playstation dildo move & the wii? lol! lmfao!! rofl!!!)...then they will rule all fighting sports games.

The Entrances are still not fluent. THQ does WWE 12 and makes it perfect there, why not here ? The Fighters' Bodies don't look perfectly. Sometimes its just way too fast and it all looks so mechanical. Looks perfect in every way except for the submission system. The mini game itself is good, I just dont like the fact that it takes your eyes off the actual submission being applied. Instead we are forced to look at the mini game thing.

EA MMA is horrible compared to Undisputed. Undisputed has much deeper gameplay. Looks like they added tons of animations and fixed the submissions. That is all I was looking for. They could improve graphics more but it does not bother me. Cannot wait for this.
The game really looks good in these newer videos. The animations are MUCH more fluid than in 2010, and the graphics have been somewhat improved. But the animations impressed me. I like the new moves as well.
@jackhaggerty I like EA´s MMA and i will buy UFC UNDISPUTED 3 too as a mma fan,but what i like in mma is the game is much more fluid in the movement and the graphics are way more realistic colors. In ufc undisputed 3 the pride mode looks very well from the graphics and the faint system look better than in ea´s mma. Maybe it´s more usefull in a match then in ea´s mma. The pride ring looks undetailed. Hope the final game looks a lil bit better then now.

Also if someone is EA MMA fan, I'd lke to remind you that Dana White once tried to talk EA into making an MMA game (long before UFC Undisputed series). They told him that MMA is not a sport and they will never make a game of it. This is how EA talks to potential clients.

@jackhaggerty Rankings doesn't make a true fan, Fedor in game is great for fans of MMA period. As for your Shogun comment he wasn't even in EA MMA, it was Murillo Rua his brother, who is fat compared to Shogun, and Murillo doesn't fight like Mauricio hence the different moveset. Stamina is more realistic in EA as opposed to the UFC games where you just shine the controller to submit, in EA you have to time your technique, exactly why the UFC 3 changed to the EA MMA model for submissions.

You should get the game developers to participate in mma, so you get a feel of what it's like to be in their shoes. Game looks good, look forward to getting it.
In games that are realistic, actually realistic, its weird seeing characters perform the exact same animations, unlike something like Street Fighter or Call of Duty where I take that for granted. So these fighters still come off as robotic to me, it makes it difficult to get into the game.
I'm really love the pride mode! This looked promise so far. I just wonder if they will more pride arena and yellow card system? Anyway, Feb.14 not just only i will take my lady out on a date, can't wait to buy this game!!!!!! (^________^)

looks really nice... finally the striking looks much more fluid and not as robotic as in the previous games...
there's just one thing I didn't like and that was the KO in the first fight... I can't remember a single fight where a fighter got KO'd by knees from north/south or side control... if you're not able to transition into another position the ref should stop it but you shouldn't get KO'd...

Covering the screen with the "Octagon Submission Bar" is a TERRIBLE idea, I hope you can turn off that stupid doll in the corner of the screen, you should never clutter the screen with energy bars and stuff.
i hope you can do 1 punch k.o's if you catch them sweetly e.g rashad vs liddel, silva vs jackson instead of having to have so many strikes until the head is red.

It takes some getting used to when you go from UFC controls to the default EA MMA controls, but when you get them, they are awesome.
But UFC does at least have online play. Many players (incl myself) have no access to online, because EA sucks donkey ass!
So I hope UFC 3 will be awesome, looks like it though!

In games that are realistic, actually realistic, its weird seeing characters perform the exact same animations, unlike something like Street Fighter or Call of Duty where I take that for granted. So these fighters still come off as robotic to me, it makes it difficult to get into the game.

I'm really love the pride mode! This looked promise so far. I just wonder if they will more pride arena and yellow card system? Anyway, Feb.14 not just only i will take my lady out on a date, can't wait to buy this game!!!!!! (^________^)

looks really nice... finally the striking looks much more fluid and not as robotic as in the previous games...
there's just one thing I didn't like and that was the KO in the first fight... I can't remember a single fight where a fighter got KO'd by knees from north/south or side control... if you're not able to transition into another position the ref should stop it but you shouldn't get KO'd...
really looking forward to stomp peoples faces in though! =D

Covering the screen with the "Octagon Submission Bar" is a TERRIBLE idea, I hope you can turn off that stupid doll in the corner of the screen, you should never clutter the screen with energy bars and stuff.
