This is the Feast of victory for our God! Hallelujah! Good job. I can't help but wondering how an organist ever gets to practice much. Do they just let you have a key and let you go in anytime to practice? It looks like it would take a lot of practice, to get both feet & hands moving in different directions I mean.
Wow. all the stops are pulled out on this Tracker organ! Very nice! I could imagine a processional with the cross and choir singing it coming in, if it were not in the liturgy already. Very very nice!! Richard Hillert would love this - he is the one who wrote it.
They play this song at my church on special occasions like first communions and Easter, and I've always loved it.

I love this song! Love the organ version as the organ seems almost an obsolete instrument these days.

Beautiful song. I heard this as a child and have never forgotten in, and have not heard it in person in over 25 years!

Ahh.... as much as I lament the loss of the old Red Book, I do indeed love LBW 1.

Is there a recording anywhere of 'Motet for the Pentacost' ? We rehersed but never
performed it. Frightening music..

Yes, the organist probably practices at his church whenever he wants.

@swedishlutheran It's sad for us that he joined our Lord in Heaven on February 18, 2010. He will be missed.

Wow. Cool organ. Who built it? How old is it, and where is it located?

This is definitely a Casavant organ. I can tell by the shape of the drawknobs. The Casavant in the Cathedral here has the same ones.

Yes, Casavant.
