Let me help asshole, an LS1 and a LS6 are Basically the same engine? a LS6 Basically the HP increase was due better flowing Heads and intake and a larger profile cam, stronger main bearing bulkheads (which does nothing but make it more durable) For a LS1 LS6 application my Engine is built more agressive than a LS6 Z06. R U gettin the point. My PKG is based off the Trick Flow GenX kit. only more agressive.

The guy who does all my exhaust work says to get your set up. It sounds incredible. My wife loves it. We just bought her a 50th Anniversary Vette a couple of weeks ago. Have some videos of it if you want to take a look.

I also installed a tru-x cross pipe.
You'll fell the extra hourses..no doubt!
My mechanic charged me $100 to install everything. Better then trying to climb under there and cut out the stock system.
