  • love that air horn lol

  • omg...omg!!

  • No SEATBELTS??? wtf

  • Where was the fire? i didnt see any fire/smoke at all in this video.

  • Don't take this as harsh hatred but, there is absolutely no reason you need to ask a ff on the way to a job, "hey do you have your helmet, radio, pack, gloves. Don't forget your gloves." If that is the case, you need to do some more training. A lot more.

  • @MrYouknowBetta Ever think he was a new guy and he was just double checking on him? I've done that plenty of times with new guys.

  • Nothing better than sitting backwards in that dim red light with all your gear on, listening to that siren, and knowing you're about to bust your ass!

  • From brother to brother, put a god damn seat belt on

  • @EMORD123185 "Gosh damn" seat belt. geez why do so many people pronounce and spell "Gosh damn" wrong?

  • i dunno probably because they recently checked that hydrant and because it is on Main St. which is the main water supply line for the entire city....not every FD does the same stuff....different SOPs and stuff

  • How come no one flush the hydrant first before the connected the supply line?

  • Good job guys. xcellent job catching th hydrant. Nate-Volunteer, Lee &Homer Twp. FD, MI

  • I said "Lame" because the first 3 minutes is riding in your Ladder/Engine/Truck or what ever it was. There wasn't any audio of the radio communications on the fire ground. The video didn't show any fire, people being rescued or anything making it worthwhile for me to watch. Just my opinion brother. I'm not saying YOU are "lame", the video I watched is. Again, just an opinion.

  • @sellchips1st I'm sorry, I guess I sort of assume that people who watch the videos do so because they like to see a small town professional fire department at work. If you felt mislead by the title "Structure Fire with People Trapped" then all I can say is I chose the title because that was what the call was. As for the analysis of what happened, the first 3 minutes was the arrival of everyone, Rescue 1 made a size-up and went in and rescued the people. It was 4 am also and I just woke up. Thanx

  • @wheelingfire they rescued the people and got in and knocked down the fire very rapidly....the fire was in one room and it was behind the room with the people, so Rescue 1 rescued the people, Engine 2/Engine 5 put out the fire with 2 lines, Ladder 1 Vented the building with Positive Pressure, everything was cool, I was with Ladder 1 and they took the hydrant for Engine 2 so that's what I shot. It takes about 3 minutes for any companies in the Wheeling to all arrive on scene together.

  • @wheelingfire I think that this video is good. From one fire fighter to the other. We all know about 4am calls. Good luck and take care.

  • @sellchips1st Yeah i can understand that... But you have to remember... Firefighting isnt all about people getting rescued, and putting out the fire... A lot of it is making sure you know what your going to and making sure you get there safe

  • is this in new york?

  • @firedude201234 no, Wheeling, WV

  • Lame....

  • @sellchips1st how so?

  • @sellchips1st

    your lame

  • Congratulations on the successful rescue gentlemen. Job well done and good video man :)

    Be safe

    KP

  • keep up the good work
