ive said since battling started, that id rather listen to 3 rounds of decent written material then awkwardly listening to someone get through their freestyle verses. freestyles DO take more creativity and are harder to do than writing at your own pace, but for the promotion of the art, GT has it right with being a written league, for people who have never even heard of battling, to get into it.

WRC was tighter than GT, man. I like GT too, but nothing beats these 2 on 2 setups where quick thinking and freestyling actually play a role. Any slapdick can be a decent GT battler with months to prepare a verse (look at how wack Hollow da Don was in WRC, for example), but this all day 2 on 2 shit takes skill.

Also, I honestly think Hollow wasn't that bad in the WRC, but also he can come better than that which he has in GT. He still spits freestyles and he serves dudes. In addition, the WRC isn't the best indicator for how dope someone is 'cause every emcee has a bad day here and there in freestylin'. I do agree about how easy it is to be good in GT (but say that to Ajaxx lol)
