Hollow bodies and semi hollow bodies just sound great with this music, I play them with my strat and its just not the same. I wonder If I can sort of fake the sound with EQ?

Let's not forget Cedrone passed away (very tragically) DECADES before you were born, so it's not like he personally showed you how to play it. You've just listened to the recording like everyone else has, and I'd say a skilled musician's opinion of this trumps yours just because you happen to be a distant relative.

@Fretfeeler This is coming a year late but I think I nailed this as close as it can be. And the reason is after watching your vid where you said the original is sloppy when slowed down. It is sloppy as hell in the run down which is how i played it - one finger in the first part. If you slowed mine down it would sound just as sloppy. As I said in the description it dont matter as long it sounds good.
