Whatever happened to Southern Brand Sausages. I remember they looked like hot dogs but was sausage and very good. Especially, with grits! Don't hear of them anymore.

Sorry but I prefer my own-

2 lbs ground venison [deer meat]

1/2 lb loose breakfast sausage

1/3 C Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp sage

1/2 tsp McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning

mix all ingredients together, form into 3" (5cm) patties and cook on medium heat 5-8 minutes per side. Less fat and better for you than pork.
