You know, when I first heard that this was one of Kurt Cobain's favorite albums ever, I was like "oh, okay. that's interesting. I already have Last Splash, I should check out Pod. I mean, I like Kurt and he liked this."
...but it didn't take all but 1 or 2 lessons to shave off the kurt reference entirely, and for this to become one of my favorite albums of all time. I mean fuck, how can you not like this album?
The breeders kick hole to the curb. Without a doubt. Most of those corny riot fox bands anyways. With the exception of bikini kill who were just as good.

does anyone know what its about? I always thought it was about a suicidal drug addicted, who friend looks after her when shes low, hence the stay one more time/nobody wants to die, lyrics. I did think it might of been about kims sister kelley, coz she was addicted to heroin. I might be completly wrong.

Anyway, I think people can give it any meaning they want. Once a song is released, it's free. The songwriter can only say what she meant about it, how others feel may be total different things.

I live in Dayton, and work in restaurants here. Kim Deal often comes in. I still get giddy seeing her. She has beautiful gray hair now.

Hate to say it, but this song reminds me of Hole. I hate to say it because Kurt Cobains support of this album is already distracting enough.
I just think Hole was influence by the Breeders, in their later years, after their first record.
