  • What is Yvonne Craig (Batgirl) up to these days?

  • Laziest. Fightscene. Ever.

  • I liked the addition of Batgirl, but I wish they would have made her a tougher fighter, given the character some martial arts skills. Made her Batman's female version of Kato, if you will.

  • I would fuck Batgirl in her asshole

  • These two team-up in a "We Love Lucy" episode.

  • Wow, I forgot about Ida Lupino. She was such a good actress but an even better director and one of the earliest women directors on the scene.

  • The fight scene beginning at 2:36 is as brillant as the fights in "The dark knight".

    For sure. Trust me.

  • POW!

  • Just a thought, but what are the odds that either Batman or Robin knocked out Catwoman or Dr. Cassandra?

  • It was interesting seeing Julie Newmar reprise her role as Catwoman in this episode when earlier in the 3rd season, Eartha Kitt had replaced her in three episodes.

  • @38yofrmut i don't think that was julie newmar--i don't think that any of these villians are any of the actors who played them

  • @38yofrmut

That definitely wasn't Julie Newmar. Those were all extras, hence why you never see their faces up close.

  • 1:42 Batman pwns Robin by throwing him into some flying object that breaks off his head (obviously accidental, but the show must go on) hahaha

  • I don't care what any of you haters say, this is CLASSIC!!!!!!

  • I love this video

  • And this is where the martial arts training of sensing vibrations in the air comes in handy. Batman is known as a master of martial arts, and sparring in darkness is part of post-blackbelt training. A master martial artist can sense vibrations in the air, and therefore does not need to see to defend himself. I'm a red belt, and we've already had one darkness sparring test. Its not easy, but worth it!

  • all batman had to do was throw a smoke bomb..DUH

  • I cannot believe Robin didn’t break his neck from the way he was slipping and falling on the floor!

  • @sandinyourshoes Let me get this straight!! 8 against 3 wasn`t enough, these scoundrels had to take those pills!! Kudos for Batgirl for coming up with the idea of making it dark. I ask you where would us men be sometimes without a lady to think of everything!!!

  • @tonyocch1, she was such a helping force for our Dynamic Duo! However, how could anyone know who was who in the darkness?

  • I like this video

  • the joker's laughter is the real thing

  • The female warden is called Mrs Frisk!

    Can't blend into a polka-dotted cell?

I think, that the only thing possible to say, is WTF?

Crude, but sums up my disbelief nicely.

  • I hope that during the blackout fight that Batgirl was fighting Dr. Cassandra and Catwoman while Batman and Robin took care of Cabala, Penguin, Egghead, Riddler, Joker and King Tut. Otherwise the circumstances would be just wrong.

  • When Robin says, ''We're outnumbered 8-3'' he surely remembers the Submarine Battle in The Movie where just Batman & Robin (No Batgirl) faced The Penguin, The Joker, The Riddler, The Catwoman and 5 Pirates.

  • The Supervillains comming together would have made a sensational Three Parter Season Finale if Fox and ABC knew the end was nigh for Batman. This should have been performed much better.

  • why did batman throw robin across the room

  • Dr. Cassandra and her made a good villian. If they made a season 4, I hope they would have brought her back.

  • @BigTex541 Yeah so true and played by real life married couple Ida Lupindo and Howard Duff.

  • Heh......... if you freeze the show at 1:52 during the fight scene... Robin catches Batgirl and gets a "batsqueeze" on her chest. LOL.

  • When I was a kid, I used to think it was so cool that they got back all the actors to play the supervillians in this episode. Once I became an adult, I knew they didn't spend the money to do that: they're all stand-ins. Such is the budget of making an episode in the last season.

    *sigh*

Still, I love the part where the Terrific Trio turns the tables on them halfway through the clip...and that's when the music changes.

  • Lucky thing he had his Anti-Alveno Ray Bat disintegrator. Don't leave home (bat-cave) without it.

  • Looks like Batgirl got in a couple of good kicks on some of the invisibles.

  • i love how the criminals just let them huddle up ... i'd like a timeout please ...stop kicking my ass right now...lol

  • commissioner & o'hara at the spa together??

  • Isn't that lady at the end the same actress who plays the wife of Eddie Albert's character on the show "Green Acres"?

  • @Dac719 Zsa Zsa Gabor played in Batman, while her twin sister Eva played in Green Acres

  • @asa999asa They weren't twins. Eva was actually 2 years younger (born in 1919) while Zsa Zsa was born in 1917. They looked tremendously alike though, didn't they? But from what I understand, Eva was very sweet while Zsa Zsa.....well, we've all heard about Zsa Zsa, right?

  • For some odd reason, I think that Yvonne Craig looks kind of hot when she does the high kick and misses at 1:46-47. This is also the episode where her cardboard self makes that sexy "power pose".

  • This was a good episode. Loved the fight scene. That had to be a classic. Thanks for sharing.

  • Man. I miss this show. It was 20 years before my time but I loved watching it as a kid.

  • I ALWAYS SAID THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE AN EPISODE WITH A HUGE FISTFIGHT BETWEEN BATGIRL AND CATWOMAN AND/OR BLACK WIDOW. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN ONE HELL OF A SCENE. THE FACT THEY DIDN'T PROVES HOW STUPID THE MAKERS OF THIS SHOW COULD BE

  • God who cares this episode was BRILLIANT I don't care how fake the villians were maybe all the actors could not make it or it was too expensive but its funny, witty and the super villians terrific. Good on Ida she and Howard make a great team. My only regret is they didn't have more villians. I love the way Batman says you foolish foolish woman.

Each to their own view, but for me, one of the best.

  • hold on a minute. this episode was done after "i'll be a mummy's uncle" right? because king tut found out batman's identity in that one then turned back into proffesor mcelroy from a rock in the head, but if professor mcelroy turned into king tut for some reason wouldn't he remember who batman is and tell all the criminals that were sitting next to him?

  • @BGDD27 --No. When Tut discovered Batman was Bruce Wayne, he LOST that memory when hit on the head as he loses all memories from has "bad-guy" ways when he reverts back to the Professor in all previous episodes featuring Buono.

  • I wonder if when all the super villians are invisible, does Penguins cop a feel of Batgirls goods?

  • @Shelver92 Good observation! I believe that all the villainous guys would be bumping into each other, trying to grope her at the same time. Batgirl's there in her skin-tight blue costume, and they're supposed to waste their time bothering with Batman and Robin? Get real! They'd be all over her like a bad rash. :)

If I were an invisible criminal, Batman and Robin would each get a 40-yard nut-kick. End of fight. :)

  • You're Right Batgirl. all right Super Invisible villians put em' up! now it's a fair fight!

  • time 2:32 batgirl is clever.

  • Oh, so that's your plan, Dr. Cassandra? To make them all addicts? XD

  • 2:35 - most obvious budget cut the series ever had.

And yeah, as far as I know, King Tut was the only villain never to be jailed.

  • ROFL!!!!!! I LUAHFED SO HARD WHEN THEY WERE FIGHTING NOTHING HAHAHAHHA

  • Continuity Error. King Tut wouldn't have been in prison here since at the end of his last appearance, he was transformed back into the professor. He would have been back at his post at Yale.

  • @apodino Another error is that catwoman is the Julie Newmar version instead of Eartha Kitt.

  • lol hahaha

  • What did he pull outta his belt.. a cell phone?..lol

  • This Catwoman is Julie Newmar returns?

  • Batgirl had some beautiful hips

  • i do like how the end of this episode leads into the next one. I think that the last season is the only one that did this

  • how lame! lol A sound stage...stunt doubles..."invisible opponents and a total lights out fight scene finale! So did the budget from season two to three just fall or did they get sloppy? I mean how did the show go from hero to zero?

  • @MrSaxman77 Too many budget cuts; reucing the show to 30 minutes from 60. Scripts that were not so good. Adding a 3rd character (Batgirl) when they really needed better scripts. (The wrong shot in the arm.)

Even Adam West knew the show was heading for its grave in the 3rd and final season.

  • @eternalhalloween1 I,myself thought that it had a few more seasons left in them....lol

  • @Starchild798 Well, recovering from a bad season is of course possible. But they would have really had to get the show back to an hour. And they would have had to start writing again like in the 1st season.

The 1st season had a good mixture of comedy and darkness. A good example is "Instant Freeze.." By the 3rd season, anything serious was thrown out the window, and it became an utter farce.

Actually another network almost saved the show, but the Batcave had been destroyed already.

  • @eternalhalloween1 tht,s too bad,if another network would,ve been able to save the show ,why didn,t they then build another batcave or at least another place where batgirl hangs her cape up or they could,ve had barbara gordon buy a house ,next door to bruce wayne to make it more intresting,of course

  • @Starchild798 According to Adam West, they felt the expense of rebuilding the set was too high. Although truth be told, Adam West did get another chance at Batman in the 70s. They made an animated series. He didn't really want to do it, but he decided it would bother him to hear another voice coming out of Batman. He did say that some of the stories were pretty good. A lot of people don't know that Adam West retook his Batman role briefly in the 70s.

  • @eternalhalloween1

and he played him in live action again in those two specials with all the superheroes, but they were pretty dumb.

  • @FanOfBats I read something about that in his book. It's ashame that they were dumb. Poor Adam seemed cursed for awhile. He did get some roles after Batman, but by his own confession, a lot of them were pretty bad.

  • I've always liked the music to Batman all across the board, but when Batgirl showed up the 3rd season, I thought it got better. Listen to it beginning at 1:21 and at 2:38. It's just great music!

  • They should have gotten the real actors to play the other villians like Frank Gorshein, Cesar Romeo & Vincent Price. All great actors by the way.

  • i want to put my schlong in batgirl!!

  • i still say batman and robin could have fought crime much better in loincloths...lol...seriously, though...the best line of this episode is when batgirl appears and asks dr. cassandra...do you have my number...and dr. casandra answers without missing a beat...other women's numbers don't interest me batgirl...was that dr. cassandra's sly way of saying that she definitely was into peter and not pan...lol...

  • I love the way the villains give Batman and Co. time for a little pow-wow half way through the fight so they can discuss strategy. And its a good job Batman and Robin managed to duff up all the right villians and not each other in the dark. Classic stuff.

  • I wonder why Batman didn't have some sort of BAT Phone? You see him give Bat Girl a coin to make a phone call.

I remember all those computers and other high tech crime fighting machines in the Bat Cave so it would make sense he'd have some sort of Bat communicator to call the police ?

  • I find it a bit quizzical that Catwoman here, looks like Julie Newmar's version, when the only Catwoman from the third season (AKA "The Batgirl Season") was the one played by Eartha Kitt.

  • @TMC1982Part2 That is correct. In fact, it's my understanding that Julie Newmar's Catwoman was only on the first season for 6 episodes, and they never called her again.

  • Mmm. "The End" placed right on her ass. How quaint!

  • I love the change in the music at 2:37.

I guess you could call it "the tide has turned" bat-music!

  • can c how the lost in space crew, would work, w/ this version ~ It's like lost in space w/ batman ~ ~ btw ~ the batgrl costume looks neat n' hot :)

  • Egghead was Vincent Price :)

  • The original actors who played the villians were not actually in this episode. That's why their backs were turned to the camera.

  • BEAUTY AND BRAINS BATGIRL 2:33

  • LOL!!! Batman is holding his Batflashlight upside down!

  • Batman could have been bluffing about his anti-Alvino Ray bat disintegrator in his utility belt. If he was that is one hell of a poker face

  • Like the Pipe of Ffogg Batreverser. :)

  • I always thought that the ending of this episode would had been better if Dr, Cassandra had tried to use her alvino ray gun to flatten Batman, Robin and Batgirl as she had done earlier only to discover that the gun doesn't work because Batman had an alvino ray disintegrator in his utility belt. The disappointed look on Dr. Cassandra's face when the gun didn't work, along with the looks of relief on the faces of Robin and Batgirl, would had been priceless.

  • I love the Riddlers laugh

  • "I have a feeling they are still here!" Ya think, Batman?

  • Holy word-play Batman!!!

Alvino Rey (pronounced Ray) was a guitarist/bandleader quite popular in the 50s & 60s.

This is almost as good as the J. Pauline Spaghetti/J. Paul Getty joke in another episode - classic.

  • The ending to this episode would had been better if Dr. Cassandra had tried to use the alvino gun on Batman Robin and Batgirl and realized that the gun didn't work. She could had said, "The gun! It doesn't work!" To which Batman could had said, "No, Doctor, it doesn't work, thanks to this alvino ray disintegrator that I placed in my utility belt". With this ending, how do we know that Batman really did have an alvino ray disintegrator in his utility belt?

  • He's Batman, he has everything in his belt. Except patience, for thugs like you.

  • Maybe so, but I still would had liked to had seen Dr. Cassandra try to use the alvino ray gun at the end and realize that the gun doesn't work, just like in the Mr. freeze episodes when Mr. Freeze would try to use his freeze gun on Batman and Robin, only to learn that the freeze gun doesn't work becuase Batman and Robin are wearing special thermal underwear. The fact that we see the gun not work makes the episodes better and more convincing.

  • at 2;16 what a bat bump

  • its hard to imagine all these people sitting on the chairs are death and the woman and man who gave instruction

accept the catwoman is still alive if im right

  • One of them Julie is alive, Eartha's gone

  • The bathaters have given part 2 a rather low rating. If you have time, go back to part 2 and give it a high rating.

  • i wanna rip those batgirl spandex right off there!!!!

  • Batgirl has the brains when they regroup.

  • So true;it's Batgirl who figures out that the villians couldn't see them, they would have the same problem. In Part 2, it's Batgirl who realizes what's happening when Dr. Casandra uses the alvino ray gun ("I feel like I'm getting flat!").

  • I must agree it was Batgirl who came up the right ideas, as a gentlemen I will be the first one to say that us men need women or we could not think on our own.

  • They have such clever gadgets...^^

  • The gathering of all the supervillains was so cheaply done. They were all played by stunt people and extras with the actor's laughs and giggles lifted from earlier episodes. What a sad ending for the show.

  • @zentaivillain They should have brought the original actors for this.

  • @zentaivillain There were two reasons why Cesar Romero, Burgess Meredith, Frank Gorshin, Eartha Kitt, Victor Buono, and Vincent Price didn't appear as Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, King Tut, and Egghead: some claim that the actors were unavailable and some claim that having the usual actors appear would be expensive. Either way, body doubles were used here.

  • @zentaivillain But that Cesar Romero, Victor Buono, Vincent Price, Burgess Meredith, when Dr. Cassandra and Cabala released them from jail, but as for Catwoman that didn't look like Lee Meriwether or Julie Newmar to me, also that wasn't Frank Gorshin as Riddler anyone can see that.

  • of course they are bats & bats have radar sensors.

  • Not necessisarily, Shiskinobi. If I was in the episode, I'd be able to fight and defeat the "invisible" arch-criminals, by merely keeping my eyes closed. Because when I took martial arts before, I had to learn to fight my opponents in darkness, and since I couldn't see my attackers, I had to rely on my OTHER SENSES to guide me through. So that's probably how the Terrific Trio were able to defeat all of the criminals.

  • u speld entrancing rong

  • Thanks!

  • @THERIDDLERIII this makes me laugh more than it should!

  • @THERIDDLERIII You misspelled "wrong" =P

  • Zsa Zsa Gabor was so sexy, and she still is today....how about "The End" graphics all over her ass?

  • I wonder if that was to hint to the audience that it would be the last episode of the series?

  • Yeah, that was something, they hardly ever have a The End graphic on Batman anyway. And they were talking about Mrs Frisk the prison matron who handled all the female inmates on their arrival: Catwoman, Siren, Minerva et all. But why did Zsa Zsa zay zhe felt like a new man?

  • Yes, you would be in the same boat, doesn't mean you'd know where to punch or who you are punching. But logic was evidently a minus when these shows were put together.
