How naive I was when I younge,r I always thought this song was about all night partying and dancing but now I release it is about all night sexual floricking.
I danced my ass off to this back in 1979. I was a young Marine with all the moves. I'm an old relic now with banged up knees and schrapnel on my legs! lol
It is very interesting to find out that this group consists of the Burke brothers who were formerly known as the Five Stairsteps in the late 60s. This really gives me another level of respect for this talented family.
Favorite old school song of all time. Cousin Jose (R.I.P.) introduced me to this song when I was 13. When I would DJ parties and later clubs, I would bring this cut in and out all night. Great intro and breaks. Still stored in the crates even though I haven't spun regularly in 15 years.
Our Generation of music completed the great eras of musical genius, everything you hear today except two present day groupings of artist copies music from our generation and back.
Oh Yes! Never new the artist nor the title but this song brings back memories 6th grade House Parties.
