how did u ppl find out that voldemort wants 2 kill harry cuz of a prophecy? it dosent say in the book. or did it just kinda hit u wen ya read the prophecy

@pogo1212able it did say in the book. dumbledore explained it all when harry was "dead". and there was that whole bit with neville possibly being the one in the prophesy a couple of books back as well.

@pogo1212able it explains most of it in Order of the Phoenix. Dumbledore explains it in detail kinda. It basically says that the prophecy was in reference to a boy born in july. both harry and neville were born in july. so when harry was born he was not an equal to voldemort, but in turn when he went after harry he marked him as his equal. if you need more understanding just read chapter 37: The lost Prophecy, in Order of the Phoenix.

I have read all of the books in both series ( Twilight and HP) and Harry Pottter comes out on top. The mood and the vivid descriptions of J.K.R completely exeeds S. Meyer writing skills.
