Question, Dan-- The pastor said that someone VFX evangelized to on camera was already saved. How do we know that all of them were saved/actors? And if only one person said that they were saved before "converting" on camera, how do we know that person was put up to it by VFX and not just going with the flow? Furthermore, how do we know your pastor fellow isn't an actor? I have no reason to believe he is, but then again, I have no reason to believe the people VFX preached to were actors, either.

You are more than justified if you want to believe I'm being untruthful, all that I can offer you is my word and his word as a preacher (if you take his word about that) - I can't give out his contact details for fear of him getting shit in the christian community.

That would have been an instant turn-off to me too, because God has the authority, not the church. And since Shawn's current ministry was already successful, that's all the more reason not to make the switch. The preacher didn't sound like he could handle hearing "no".

Frequently, they plant believers that they know, on the streets, so that the video taped preaching will look effective. You can kind of tell that this is something both Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron do in their Way of the Master TV series, because the "pedestrians" just seem too easily convinced.

The voice sounds similar but firstly Thor has an actual US accent instead of a US-intoned Canadian accent, and his mode of speaking is more natural and includes pauses for thought (in fact it's when he makes statements with dramatic emphasis that he sounds most like Shawn.) I'm not a linguistic expert but I have a good ear :)

Question, Dan-- The pastor said that someone VFX evangelized to on camera was already saved. How do we know that all of them were saved/actors? And if only one person said that they were saved before "converting" on camera, how do we know that person was put up to it by VFX and not just going with the flow? Furthermore, how do we know your pastor fellow isn't an actor? I have no reason to believe he is, but then again, I have no reason to believe the people VFX preached to were actors, either.

Actually he said he spoke with two people and ONE said he was already a Christian. When you transcribed that part of the conversation, hathor, you even wrote it as being one person:
"He said, 'Oh, I've been saved for 10 years.'"
Which one of those two was "he"? Why not say "they"? Something about your story, or rather the pastor's story, is not adding up. If all of the people VFX evangelized to were already Christians then there would be no reason for the pastor to cite only ONE example.

Also if VFX never intended to evangelize to non-Christians he probably wouldn't have:
A. Been doing exactly that for several years prior right in front of your face on YouTube, or
B. Spent hours making copy after copy of a 17-hour-long DVD to hand out to nobody, or
C. Bought equipment that can pretty much only be used to improve the quality of his street preaching.
That's a lot of $money$ he could have kept for himself, don't you think hathor?

What I see is a preacher who is a little bit upset that Shawn didn't accept his job offer, which I can fully understand. He uses the term "authority of the church". That would have been an instant turn-off to me too, because God has the authority, not the church. And since Shawn's current ministry was already successful, that's all the more reason not to make the switch. The preacher didn't sound like he could handle hearing "no".
Thus concludes my piece, and your pickles are down to one.

Not that what VFX is accused of here would be out of character for him. On the contrary - this sounds just like him.
It's just that I have a hard time accepting this testimony from a "protected witness" precisely because we are not told who he is.

The street preaching that VenomFangX does in front of the camera, is nothing new in the world of evangelical scheming. Many evangelists televise their efforts to convert nonbelievers. Frequently, they plant believers that they know, on the streets, so that the video taped preaching will look effective. You can kind of tell that this is something both Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron do in their Way of the Master TV series, because the "pedestrians" just seem too easily convinced.

If true, he has painfully low esteem and desperately craves praise.. will engineer any circumstance to avoid criticism.

Let's be fair.. Some of VFX's interviews seemed staged, especially that couple of clean-cut kids that never interrupted his yakking and always had the "right" thing to say.

While I'd like to think of this as legitimate evidence of PCS's further sliminess, I'm just not sure this is a reliable source. For instance, he went to PCS's college and just happened to see him wrapping up an evangelizing video? Or just happened to run into some of the people PCS interviewed? Also curious, what church has a "grand master?" Is it an extreme denomination? I would think most Christians who want to enter Clergy would be selective about the denomination they work for.
