Im going to study civil this 2009. What should I study while not in university yet? What kind of Math or any subject should I research in order to prepare myself?
Well I'm only in my first grade so I can give you any big advise. Anyway i'll recommend the basics of linear Algebra (matrixes, determinants, etc.). You will also get LOADS of analysis (math), especially in your first grade.
Knowing the basics of chemistry won't hurt you either ...
Can tell you verry much about that, As I told you I'm only in my first grade so .... Anyway after you completed your first two years the real stuff should begin, then you can chose your specification (for instance: Elektronics, Computers, materials, building, vehicles ... etc.) So before this you wouldn't see much about ECE except some basics like in "system theory" (part of "Linear Algebra" from my previous post). This is predicting the behaviour of a simple system (ex: a chip).
You're probably going to have to take a lot of calculus classes in college so prepare for that. Once you're working, you'll probably use a lot of trigonometry and geometry.

Ofcourse it's hard, you've to design bridges, hundreds of lives depend on your calculations! So be prepared if you start ....
