  • Some day when Americans finally realize that their 2 political parties are just for show and are only promoted by the rich so they can pass more laws against the middle class and lower class and start more wars that cost billions a month while cutting everything that helps the community thanks to the corrupt house and senate and that soldiers and police are just the wealthy's little bitches that dont know wtf they're really fighting for (oppression & money). Then, maybe they'll be some change.

  • VIvA LA REVOLUTION!!!

  • Thanks for video talk on Constitutional contradiction, but a serious correction is needed, honest Government is not about freedom = it is about Rights = Natural Constitutional rights. All honest Constitutional Laws are based on Rights, and whether you consent to your neighbors Natural Rights or not, is irrelevant, the purpose of rightful voting and honest Representation is to enforce the physical Rights of the individual person, in harmony with the natural laws of Justice.

  • @JustRights Rights is not what someone gives you, rights is something that can be taking away from you.

  • Consent. The mob or the collective has all the power but not individuals.

Why can't we make Congress obsolete as far as voiting. We all have computers so why can't Americans and not Congressmen vote online on bills? Why do we need Congressmen to vote on legislation? They can debate legislation but the American people should get to vote on it.

  • Comment removed

  • We have no "mechanism" by which we can be governed by "consent?"

    Wouldn't that be called VOTING?

  • He who votes has no power.

He who counts the votes has all the power.

  • I prefer to think I fought for your right to believe whatever you want. Yet I still prefer to view my Americans as the good guys who believe in right and wrong and will do the right thing regardless of twats who are out there trying to scare us into their point of view. Other than the Supreme Court giving an election to their side we have had a pretty good run at being honest. Honesty returned in January. Let the bricks lay where they fall.

  • I fought for my own and served. Honesty returned in January-no. There are no perfect people thus there will be no perfect government. Party vs party is just a piece of theater - it's all one party, the ruling party. They all work together. 2 parties makes you feel like you have a choice which feels like control which keeps guns out of people hands.

  • i agree if your work is moving arms and legs in a big pool you're all swimmers whether you're wearing a red suit or a blue suit. And there is a lot of theatre and not much work getting done. But it's pretty clear when obama pushes a bill that provides tax cuts for small business and the middle class and is a bill that repubs wanted until the dems offered it that the problem is on one side of the aisle. Then we get hopey/changey? I'd ask how that trickly/downy stuff is working.

  • I can only say if your feeling sympathetic towards either side you've been duped. I don't mean that as an insult I just think that's how it works. It's like the different sides of a road-whichever side you drive on your still heading in the same direction.

  • what a twat

    yawn

  • and isn't liberty synonym for freedom? english is not my language so it's not rethorical question, I could miss some subtle difference.

to quote a movie I liked very much,

"Nobody can give you freedom, you have to take it by yourself" .

  • The founding fathers said that Liberty was God's gift to man. It is a natural right.

Freedom is dictated by something more powerful than you like a government.

  • "Freedom is our right to life, liberty and happiness"?

First what is a right then? Not the wiki definition please... but "right" makes me immediately think that somebody is allowing me something, and it's a not necessary and rather misleading word to use to define freedom to me. And:

    slaves (if obedient) had "right to life" as well ;

    I don't even know what is "right to happiness" being this a state of mind;

  • Although I think that most technical reasons against direct consent of the people can be overcome nowadays, I would start changing the system be upgrading the amount of feedback and transparancy between the people and the delegates and between the delegates and the government and getting a detailed technical analysis of the feasibility and practical implications by upgrading the ones directly between the people and the government.

  • It was simply not possible for all laws to require a general vote on consent in the whole nation/state/county, because at the time the constitution was written, sending a delegate journeying from every settlement to the national/state/local governments for every law to approve was out of question for practical reasons.

So they came up with delegates that didn't need to journey around all the time, but instead stayed in a government several years - aka congressmen and senators.

  • I agree with everything in this video, except for 1 thing:

6:38"In reanalysing the US constitution, it became very evident to me, that it was deliberately written to subvert the will of the people"

There is a reason of principle nature why only delegates and not all the people consent to laws coming out from governments despite being written so in the Declaration of Independence; and it was not done so to deliberately undermine the will of the people to consent.

  • We don't need ANY government, even the smallest. Make your own decisions, don't let some politicians do it.

  • I have some lead paint I want to give your children for free. Tell them to sip it every night and they will be rich beyond their wildest dreams.

  • We consent by our arms. keep your power dry

  • At the time the "consent" you speak of was to made through our reps. You must realize that at the time it was created, we KNEW our reps and senators, and could go to their house and shoot them in the head if they screwed us. The times are indeed different. The Government no longer fears the people. The people fear the Government. This is why we get run over now. The Gvt no longer fears its people.

  • plus get some pep in your video man.

  • people dont decide what your freedoms are "YOU DO" if you dont want to do something then civil disobedience is the key. if that doesnt work then uncivil disobedience will work too.

  • Freedom is where we DO consent, not just in having the "right" to consent. As long as there are things we do not consent to, we do not have freedom. Therefore, one's freedom is dependent not only on the decisions of others but also that person's own decisions. Permissiveness is the sole establishment of freedom, and freedom exists only in the absence of conflicts of interest.

  • No constitution can stop a government from trampling on the people's rights. None. The Constitution did not stop any politician from ignoring it even though they all swore to uphold and defend it. The solution is no coercive government at all. Let the people provide the services government fails to provide. Government is a formula for corruption. When you put that much control in the hands of a few power hungry dishonest politicians, the temptation for corruption is too great.

  • ever wonder why there are no demonstrations like there were in the 1960's? imigrants have no fear in having one. we as the land of the free and the brave both seem in short supply.why dos'nt the public speak up .demonstrate !!

  • Thank you. Personally I think there shouldn't be a House of Representatives or Senate. I'm more for direct democracy, although I haven't come up with a very sophisticated theory on how it would work. The problem is like you said, too much power in the hands of a few. If the people could just vote for each and every measure, trial and error would work everything out, instead of a few people making the decisions to serve their interests.

  • I have a different theory. I think that it should be a real republic with the executive branch being eliminated. And no prime minister or the any of that where one person has more power than the other. All you need is a spokesperson who's job to just speak. I don't think direct democracy could work because it'll be too easy to polarize and divide the people and also it's just not efficient in a country with hundreds of millions of people. Also, eliminate parties, thus eliminating lobbyist.

  • I definitely agree with you on the executive branch. I think I was thinking the same thing. The president should only be a representative (or spokesperson as you put it) for the entire country. I don't think he should make any decisions for the country. It's too dangerous putting someone in a position with that much power. He should be responsible for telling other world leaders what we're about and what we want, that's it.

  • The executive branch includes not only the presidential administration, but also the DOE, DOT, DOD, etc. Without these departments, the government would be a lot cheaper. However, private consortiums would then take over to fill the void, and I'm not sure if our freedoms will increase that way. And even if such substitutes would be more efficient when it comes to budgeting and innovation, I am not a believer in the idea that they will be inherently less expensive.

  • But I see what you mean about direct democracy. It might take a while to get people to vote on every decision. But as far as efficiency goes, I think in some ways it would be efficient because you're cutting out the middle man. You don't have to get some representative to vote on legislation for you; you just vote on it. But yes it would be hard with hundreds of millions of people. And I'd also like to see parties eliminated.

  • No matter how you look at it, any system is always going to have a flaw. The problem with democracy, first of all if the majority ruled on everything, for instance lets say that 60% of the population votes that a certain business be closed down, well it would have to be that way because it's majority ruled. You're taking away that right away from the people who own it. Not to mention the government drives a massive amount of persuasion through the media. WHY? Because it's more control for them.

  • Just because you're 15 doesn't give you an excuse to act like a jackass. you still know right from wrong and I'm pretty sure you're smart enough to know you can express yourself more thoughtfully.

  • no one gives a shit about what you have to say.

    stfu!

  • your name makes perfect sense. bullybeast. just a dumb ass animal not smart enough to make a valid point so you resort to cursing and other forms of caveman communicATION. go eat a villager, dumbass.

  • okay, one thing.

    i'm 15.

another you are what's wrong with our government, no faith in it.

all you do is complain when you should use your voice.

and i don't mean by youtube you rob riener looking fatty.

  • was it not a founding father said ;in a democracy the people deserve the govt they have????"

  • What democracy ? Don't you mean the Republic ...

  • simantics ?? in the vernacular meaning is clear.

  • Semantics is the study of meaning... if you are attempting to make a point wouldn't you want it to mean what you are thinking?

    Semantics are everything.

  • I AM FREE. I OBEY NO LAW BUT GOD'S LAW. MY WILL, IS GOD'S WILL. I am one with God. He who is not one with God, is the enemy. I enslave no one and no one enslaves me. I own nothing, as everything belongs to God. I sell nothing, that belongs to God. If God did not tell me to do it, there is no reason to do it. He who labors, labors in vein, PS 127:1. • Thanks that was a great informative video. I never thought about the Right to Consent....but I think it is very pertinent in this day and age.

  • SkuzzyPuppet thinks you're a paranoid douche.

  • he never offers any solution to the problem. any we do have a way to control our government it is called impeachment.

  • solution??? in a democracy the people deserve the govt they have, make yourself part of the solution or remain in apathy.get involved is the solution

  • thats what im saying he says there is a problem but offers no solution. i offer a problem and a solution get involved.

  • This guy needs to finish his HS education; seventh grade is not sufficient for comprehension of our constitution. He should get a job selling beer to others of his kind. Our government is screwed up due to these kind of voters and now they complain about it? **

  • System? Try devils. The god of this world is on a roll.

    bush/obama/both devils/same agenda

  • can i ask one thing, why can't you make a bill that would amend the constitution to give the people a path and the right to consent.

but the American are so stupid they would fuck that up to,i say every American should convert to Islam and and start a Islamic revolution of America.

In Islam ,Muslims have the right to consent just look at the History of the Islamic revolution in Iran.

  • Yea we need stoning, female genital mutilation, child brides, polygamy, suicide bombers, tribal warfare......YAY we can call it Shithole-istan. Name one ismalic country that doesnt suck ass? Why to they move to europe in droves to get away from the opression they experience there? Thats probably the stupides thing Ive heard that didnt come from rush limbaughs mouth.

  • I got to 4:35 in this video and it is just taking too long. You might have some valid points to make but for Goodness sake spit them out. I can't consider your views if you can't tell me what they are without pausing midway in every sentence to get your thoughts together.

  • I didnt make 30 seconds. This guy is like a sleeping pill.

  • your way or the highway, right on

  • GOOD stuff/////

3 GENERATIONS...taught in PUBLIC schools that WE LIVE IN A DEMOCRACY!

    MOST AMERICANS BELIEVE IT!

  • It all derives from the TOP!....

These people have LIED and distorted the CONSTITUTION!.....

IT IS THE PEOPLE IN CHARGED THAT IS WRONG!

  • The problem with this country is NOT the Constitution, the problem is our government working towards a New World Order and making up their own new rules. Every time a president is sworn in they promise to protect the constitution...but they don't they tread on it.

  • The constitution was written by the same people who wrote the Declaration of Independence. Roger Sherman, Robert Morris, Benjamin Franklin, George Clymer, James Wilson, and George Read signed both documents. But don't take my word for it, check for yourself. George Washington, the general who led the Revolution, signed the Constitution. To claim that the revolution was hijacked in the constitution is to directly accuse George Washington and Benjamin Franklin of treason.

  • This man's tortured logic and ignorance are stunning. The "consent" that the Declaration of Independence speaks of is the consent given by the people through their duly elected representives.

Freedom does not include a right to happiness. No one can promise you happiness; that is something that you need to gain for yourself. What you do have the freedom to do is pursue it in whatever way you choose so long as it does not infringe on the rights or freedom of someone else.

  • your a dumbass

  • I'm not alone! lol xD

I really hope people will realize this. I came to this conclusion a while ago, but I've been told countless times I'm wrong. I'm glad I'm not the only one!

  • Most people would agree there are problems with every form of government, but there is a difference between freedom and governance. "Right to consent" as a definition of freedom sounds good but we must not forget that it is possible to be wrong and/or selfish. We can make mistakes or we can abuse the very system you are suggesting we need. Personal freedom should mean the freedom to do the right thing, to choose wisely and be well informed. If we fail to inform ourselves, we fail at freedom!

  • I mean no disrespect... but who gets to to determine what the 'right' thing to do is ? Who chooses what is wise & what is foolish ? Shouldn't the individual be free to have self-determination; free of government interference in his/hers personal choices ? (short of physical or monetary harm to another, of course) Just trying to get a feel for your position on what the definition of freedom is.

  • Its the goal of the new world order which has created our reality if you don't believe me, do rour own research..

  • Why Google ads sticks up a commercial of schizophrenia medications under a video questioning the government?

  • The higher echelons wish You to think that You must be crazy. Here have some Soma and a glass of water. Lay down, go back to sleep, and when You wake up it will all be better.

  • Stop giving this country CPR! It's Dead!

  • Honest Americans will have to become lawyers & judges and implement the Constitution.

  • Militia is needed to secured our freedoms, semi-trucks, airplanes, helicopters with machine guns, and guns will be needed with one million brave Americans ready to die for FREEDOM!

  • a death person have no freedom

  • From the beginning of time things have been corrupt, now books and video's really expose the evil elites in congress. The judges, corporate hitlers, lawyers are all part of the problem, they are playing "Operation Ignore" and aiding and abeting corporate corruption. Revolt is the only way, it's the NWO that must be destroyed.

  • Tyranny from one, a few, or the majority is still tyranny.

  • the articles of confederation provided more liberty.... i think we need to analyze both the articles and the constitution... because perhaps neither a really so perfect... or maybe we just need another amendment or idk??? what do you all think?..... anyways interesting vid

  • I've always wondered why it is wrong to question something which people look upon with respect and honor. This guy speaks the truth. The U.S was founded by people who wanted to escape the tyrannical rule of unjust men. But now this country has become a place that is ruled by those who see themselves as being "higher" than other citizens who represent America. If we cannot tell the government to f*ck off without getting in trouble, then we are basically already under tyrannical rule.

  • The constitution defends the people but it has been twisted. If you believe in free market then look up the commerce clause, how that clashes with the 10th amendment and how the case of Wickard v. Filburn relates to it all. Also, do you think there wasn't pressure on the case of Wickard v. Filburn because they needed to fund WW2. Also note this was right after pearl harbor and people were still recovering from the depression. I don't think the commerce clause was meant to be used this way.

  • I agree that the government doesn't always govern by the will of the people, but at the same time you can shove your hypothesis that the Constitution is flawed right up your fat ass.

  • I love how calm this fellow is; he's not hysterical like some other people who realize that we have bigger problems than anybody wants to accept. He's very calm, which is a VERY GOOD THING! I wish more dissenters were like this!

  • what we need is a revolutioin,

    an uprising,

    a demand.

we the people are the masses.

how are we letting such a small amount of poeple control are life?

    we are the people,

and the power lies with in us.

    dont let the manipulation continue...

  • The logical conclusion of this man's thoughts is complete decentralization and voluntarism. He is exactly on point. If anyone else is interested, there is an excellent article/podcast on the same topic which then goes further and describes how freedom can assuredly be secured without overriding anyone's consent. Google "On The Impossibility of Limited Government"

  • offatwork you obviously don't have a true understanding of fascism.

people really seem confused by that term. I know one thing about fascism, it's not socialism or communism, which is what you're talking about.

    btw "Sieg heil! Fuhrer!"?

    that's naziism, not fascism.

  • Spoken like a true fascist.

    Sieg heil! Fuhrer!

  • Haven't you ever questioned the instinctive nature and simple mysticism behind collectivism? Or why it was almost absolutely crushed by reason of economists and the free market until Marx tried to argue from Polylogism perspective? I.E Racism, antisemitism concepts, etc.

  • i wish my therapist had this guy's beard.

  • When the government has the power to control and regulate private business, it is in a position to dispense economic favors (Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged).

  • Please read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged! I am rereading it. It was written as a reaction to FDR, But it is more relevant today than it was then, Ayn escaped Russian tyranny and saw signs of it in FDR's attempt to control the country. If you observe closely what is happening now, you will understand.

  • I have been saying this for seven years.

    I do not consent.

Voting is an admission of consent...i do not vote because i do not consent.

For those of us who have ALWAYS questioned authority, and never believed the lies..stand strong my brothers and sisters.

The system is broken,it is NON redeemable.

You cannot fix it or use it to amend itself.

Step back, and do everything in your power to obstruct or be uncooperative with it.

    It is the only way.

  • Read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. Ayn escaped Russian Communistic tyranny and saw what FDR was doing. What is happening today is even more worrisome.

  • I don't really get how this would be good, if everyone has the right to choose whether or not to obey a law, then there would be no law, no justice. There is a law that you can't steal, so if they have the right to consent, they can disobey and go steal. I don't agree with your opinion.

  • You are assuming that in a society where humans have full control of their rights, that they would abuse them. All this tells me is that you are not someone who belongs in that society. Until you rise above it, the current system is for you. Here's hoping you get better, kid.

  • You are assuming an omnipotence and "godliness" activities of the government.

"Power tends to corrupt, absolute power corrupts absolutely." - Lord Acton

"Every time the state has been a hell-on-earth is exactly because a man has tried to make it his heaven." - Holderlin

  • No, I wouldn't cause any trouble but there would be people who would. If they didn't have to follow any laws, there would be no order. I think the main problem is washington and the corporate media brainwashing kids and adults in this country. We just need to go back to our principles and root out these criminals, not make following laws unnecessary.

  • "If they didn't have to follow any laws, there would be no order." i beg to differ. if we create a just society based on LOVE, there is enough food and resources for every human on Earth. we have been sold this lack and scarcity by the controlling few. the funny thing is "they" have also been lied to and are believing that lie.

the answers are all SPIRITUAL.....NOT religious

  • That's most likely not going to happen until the evil influence source is destroyed and God doesn't care to do that. So evil people are going to keep sprouting up from the ground until God gets off his lazy butt and does something about that. We can create a just society only to have some depraved human being sell his soul and start a evil society underground without the knowing of anyone. That's what keeps happening, so until then we need LAWS.

  • LOVE & FORGIVENESS is the answer for everything!!!

find it, build it, cultivate it, use it! all the ancient texts, prophets and sages have said the same thing.

  • It isn't the answer right now until you take care of the demons and corruption instigators, because the whole world can become loving and all it takes is ONE person to sell his soul and start the process all over again. You have to take care of the source.

  • FIGHT THE POWER! Just ask yourself two questions: If any goverment on this planet is truly for the people, why do they always resort to such drastic measures in order to keep them from becoming united? And why would the wealthiest sliver of the population invest so much money and time into keeping the majority distracted and misinformed? If everyone stopped hating each other and terrorizing their own fellow man, then We The People would see the truth and cut the Enemy down.If not, we are damned!

  • The Const. has plenty of provisions for the right to consent. That's what the representatives in the legislative branch are supposed to do. That's also why it's our duty to overthrow the government (according to the Const.). I'll agree with him that the system is broken, but the pieces are all there already. We're just ignoring them.

Remember, in a rule by the masses at least 49% of the people are oppressed, until the other 51% foolishly give away their power to a political class.

  • Freedom is choice, but some people will choose something that you won't like so beware of the dangers thereof.

  • Good info, but he is borring to listen to.

  • Why does this guy keep emphasizing how much history he has read for his book? Makes him appear uneducated as if he had to read it for the first time or something. "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing." As if all the brilliant American political scientists throughout our history need him to point out the flaws. I am left wing but this dude is left field.

  • Freedom is the ability to express yourself without rule or regulation. Freedom is a measure of power, the more you can express yourself the more power you have.

Freedom is Consent to, because anything forced is Rape and Tyrannical. How else can we secure our freedom? With Arms. 2nd Amendment baby, Who do you call when the police is robbing you? Consent is great but these scum bags bends rules

  • This was a commercial for a product.

    I'm happy to unsubscribe now.

If this man were really concerned with sharing his ideas for the benefit of others he wouldn't charge for them.

  • What are you a communist? That could be said about anything!

  • If he's trying to spread a political idea then he shouldn't be charging for it if he wants people to really think he's trying to change society.

He doesn't even hint at what he thinks the solution to political coercion is, aside from claiming that he has a solution in a commercial product. It's fine to be compensated for your work, but I think this guy is a charlatan.

It reminds me of Scientology. They will tell you you're messed up for free, then charge for the solution.

  • Free dissemination is more effect. Here I go:

    Civil Disobedience like MLK/Ghandi:

    1) refuse to fill out the full Census--give a body count as mandated by the constitution

    2) buy a gun to assert your 2nd amendment rights

    3) grow as much food as possible to break the GMO/frankenfood/FDA grip

    4) homeschool your kids--don't let the state pollute their minds

    5) Turn off the TV--Read!

    6) Leave the false republican/democrat paradigm--reregister Independent/libertarian/constitutionalist.

  • I like the way you think, bwhite53. the only point I might add would be:

7)Work toward self-employment, or owning your own business, WITHOUT notifying any goverment agencies (Uncle Sam, keep your claws out of my pockets!)

  • Excellent, I agree!

  • Not sure you are being very practical or realistic here, mr Will

If everyone had to consent to every law there would be chaos. That's why people elect representatives to decide the laws for them. That sure isn't perfect but it works at all.

It isn't possible in a country of 300 million that everyone is going to agree that they are 'free' under whatever definition.

"Democracy is the worst form of government except all others"

    W. Churchill

  • You missed the whole point of what he is saying.

  • We do have the right to consent, its called jury nullification.

Unfortunately, this has been usurped by the government and any discussion of a jury's right to judge both the law and the facts is grounds for a mistrial in court.

  • Consent of the governed a jury nullification are two very different disparate terms. They really have little to do with each other.

  • "goverend AND jury nullification"

  • what?

That is consent of the governed.

That's the 'people' debating the laws that government and choosing to apply or not apply them.

That is the heart of what he's talking about.

  • Jury nullification is when a jury nullifies a law by acquitting a defendant regardless of the evidence against him or her. It implies that the law itself was either unjust or inapplicable.

Consent of the governed is a political theory that governments only gain legitimacy (thus the moral right to use state power) from the people or society over which that power is exercised.

O.J. acquitted of murder was jury nullification and had zero to do with the principle of "consent of the governed".

  • Aren't you worried about seeking the consent of all the people regardless of their level of education? Remember - majority rules. Large companies have the resources to manipulate the majority of the population just as they lobby and manipulate politicians.

  • Death and Taxes?

    I choose Life and Liberty.

Patrick Henry said give me liberty or give me death.

He said that when he saw a preacher chained to a post in the center of a Early Colonial town he was beaten and bleeding because he would not pay for a business license. Today we are taxed 3 times as much as our forefathers that started the tea party.

When do we say enough's enough?

  • You hit the nail on the head Good Job!

  • I think that's Phillip Seymour Hoffman... nice try dude, couldn't fool me.

  • There is a way, plant a vegtable and grain garden. make hemp production law for local uses for rope sails and clouthing and food.people only need 3 things, food clouthing, and shelter.

  • What does everyone think about what happened to that kid with cancer? How they forced him into chemotherapy.

If they ever did that to me, I'd shoot the basterds. The fact is, you can't force a medical treatment on anyone, but appearantly some fuckers think they can.

  • Who is Lysander Spooner?

  • sometghing has gone wrong. It is called fascism.

  • That is correct we have gone to Fascism and there is nothing to stop it for NOW.

However, we have to use lead to get it back. Plain and simple but this will be long and bloody at best.

  • I diagree. We need to petition for Instant run off voting ballot iniatives state by state. Try to build a third party and try to move the democratic party to a more progressive end by getting rid of all the corpatists. Progressive talk show host, Thom Hartman has talk about this on his show and wrote about it in his book "Screwed." Congresswoman Donna Edwards is proof that you can beat a bad democrat through primaries. She beat her blue dog Rival, Albert Wynn in a primary.

  • American Indians had freedom right. Then we came here huffing and puffing with our deals and paper documents and screwed it all up. So now we bitch and moan when someone

tries to steal the freedom that we stole. How ironic. Waaaaaa!!!! I want freedom!

  • One nation under ME......Every god for his man, every man for his GOD, and every man for himself!

  • it's always men and God. what an out of date thinking.

  • "Men are fools and their gods are fools."

    Truer words were never spoken.

  • There should be course about the "down side" buggering dynamics of hierarchy, but as it turns out all the worst aspect of group behavior seem to culminate in mentally unwell leaders who have a strong tendency to win or connive for centralizatrion of power. It's true that the top people in hierarchies tend to believe and dispense bullshit as an aspect of maintaining status or position. Democracy as it stands, is not enough to help.

  • The difficulty with people is they seem to want to move above basic life, when they are trying to experience basic life. There does not seem to be a system that lays solutions out there, and then finds a way to implement. People are becoming more fragmented and indifferent to truth and fairness. The ongoing or steady state social dynamic seems like it is getting worse.

  • start wearing purple dude :)

  • yes i was raped by a doctor who had friendsi n the police and the goverment and he got away with the crime

  • wow that suck u should have went back and kicked his ass or something

  • How can you read thousands of pages of history and still not have a basic understanding of the constitution?

  • Another one hitter is..

Would you do it if you weren't paid

    and

Define an American, (or enter your mythical nation here)

When you dip into the being paid to do something area, you realize that with modern money literally being in the control of a few, that you are dancing on that string. It's pretty perverse, and those doing it for the money are much like a prostitute.

  • I'm sorry...I must have been sleeping.

What exactly are the credentials of this man?

    Who is he?

  • This guys is way wrong. Law's are what makes us free. With out laws to protect us anybody can be oppressed or murdered or enslaved. The Government doesn't hand out Freedom however, freedom is something that is inherent in every human being. If anything Tyranny in our country is caused by ignoring the Constitution.

  • "Law's are what makes us free"

yeh, laws really made blacks in america free. without the state endorsing slavery it would have been very difficult to uphold for as long as it was. without the state enforcing segregation people would have had equal rights long before they were "given" to them by the state

fuck the state and fuck the law.

I dont need them to know right from wrong

  • Actually, laws did make blacks free. Recall, slavery was the norm around the globe back then, our rejection (via war) was the exception.

The Civil War changed the law, which provided freedom. Without that change, slavery would have continued to this day.

  • Here is what someone rplyed to me in another thread

Reply to your comment on: USA's New Scarlet Letter,

So what are you arguing for? Anarchy? If you flat-out say you're against the government, that's the only alternative, you know. You want our country to have anarchy, like Afghanistan and Somalia? Make the government better, we need a government. You can't make it better by spreading fear and saying they're actually doing things that they only "might" do.

  • The laws protect the people. Without them this world would be complete chaos.

  • "The laws protect the people"

    no. people protect people.

telling someone they cant hurt you bcos its against the law isnt going to protect you.

law or no law, good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things and if the good people have the balls they'll be willing to stop people doing bad things whether its "legal" or not

  • Sure, but having a consistent set of laws, applicable to all, makes it possible to protect your own freedom.

While people can always harm you, without rule of law, you really have no recourse and will necessarily suffer from tyrants.

  • "without rule of law, you really have no recourse"

that actually made me laugh a little.

with rule of law in place youre dependant on the police to deliver justice for you. if they cant you recieve no justice.and sometimes police are just to lazy or bogged down to bother.

without rule of law you would no longer be reliant on police to do things for you and could do things yourself.

and as far as tyrants, fuck them I have guns

  • Your disdain for government is admirable, and shared by many, myself included.

Nevertheless, anarchy is hardly a reasonable alternative. While police can become corrupt, it is entirely possible for citizens to be aware and vigil, and to toss the bastards out.

Witness what just happened in Honduras, where a President resorted to mobs to attempt a change in the law. The courts and the military combined to arrest him.

  • Um, kIn a utopian society where honest people would reside there wouldnt be any necessity for laws since society would be composed of upstanding citizens. Because there are so many greedy, murderous scoundrels in the world, laws and police are needed to maintain social order.

  • what bull, the "right to consent also implies the " right to dissent" no society from primitive to modern allowed members to pick and choose what laws they would live by. finally he says in the close that his plan is modled on the ways the american reveloution was brought about and works yet the whole damn video is about how the reveloution and all reveloutions have been hy jacked, therefore they failed. what bull crap .

  • "Freedom is about our right to consent"

Thats not even close to the truth. We can all consent to laws that restrict and remove the freedoms of others. Thats specifically why the founders established a representative democracy instead of a pure democracy. Tell African Americans in 1950 Alabama that their freedom was guaranteed by the consent of their fellow citizens. Of course that wasn't the case. People agreeing to laws is exactly how freedom has been repressed for centuries.

  • Slavery seems to always happen when the higher ups stray away from Gods law

  • you mean the law that tells them how to correctly own slaves?

honestly, read your crap before you open your mouth

  • and you're angry at me for what reason? lollllllllllllllll

  • who said I was angry?

you said slavery happens when people move away from "gods law" but "gods law" tells people how to own slaves, how to punish them, when you can and cant be punished for killing them etc

  • watch?v=UfoU0HRzeCA

    Have fun

  • lol. a bunch of eastern europeans mistake distortion in their microphones for screams and that's supposed to mean something? sorta like those crazy christians making a big deal about that fisher price doll that supposedly says islam is the light.

the power of suggestion really is an amazing thing
