@Marpharrore not quite.... if ecco allready stole the orb then it would be logical to say that the astrite didn't have it for millions of years and that it allready knew that ecco took it... or it's a seperate astrite not the same as the first
@Marpharrore Not quite, it depends on how the Asterite lost the orb in the first place.
If Ecco did steal it in the beginning, then Ecco would be able to ensure the Asterite has its orb by going back in time, not to steal the orb, but to prevent himself from stealing it.
Its not a time paradox if you consider time as single line.
Asterite said (before sending ecco to the time machine) something like "no I understand. It was you all a long" meaning that it remembered ecco from past and knew that it ordered ecco to take that orb in the first place.

Wait, so....Ecco gets the Asterite its orb...by taking one from the Asterite in past...so that the Asterite will be missing its orb in the future...
